Going to say, this little guy has a lot of bad reviews. However my very smart 4 year old chose this toy. For those of you talking about how it has no directions I promise you this isn't the first thing that really hasn't had them and it won't be the last, thankfully there's a video (this is my go to anyways when learning about a new toy for my children) It does a lot of little noises, we really haven't got the chance to play with the recording part (batteries in the controller died after playing with it a little bit), although it did work we just need new ones ☺️ volume does work this isn't a very loud toy (thankfully 🙏 the kids are loud enough😬) But he loves it, hes a bit upset we cant use the controller to do more with this little guy at the moment but he loves the toy, and he says "it's kinda squishy like a real marshmallow and he's a little toasted on top" 🤣🤣🤣 he loves marshmallows (we also bought marshmallow fluff right before the toy) All in all it really depends on the child, not the adult. Ask your child what they think about it and if they like it, while you may not they very well may love it just because it's something "they" like... My little one is very happy with his little marshmallow. I think realistically it should be based on whether or not the child likes it. Mine is 4 once again so maybe the target age is off with children these days.

How is this garbage toy still being made? Anything above one star must be paid or a bot. No instructions included. The thing is so quiet and it sells itself as a music toy? How DJ Mel made it past the R&D stage is beyond me. DO NOT BUY!
He's adorable he makes some squeaks and drum noises but he is way too quiet and doesn't really do much else

The first one I had purchased didn't come with the remote. My daughter still really wanted it so I returned the first and ordered a new one. Thankfully the second one came with the remote. However, the product is a complete disappointment! Way too quiet and won't record.

This toy is terrible. It barely made a sound. And the sounds were off and difficult to understand. The volume was very low. My daughter was very unhappy and we returned the toy.

It is quiet and some of the functions don't work as they should. I bought it for my child to sing and dance but this is more like the old talking parrot, but the parrot at least worked. We had to watch your tube for instructions on how to play with the toy.
