Naturium Phyto Glow Lip Balm - 0.34 fl oz

Honestly what it lacks in packaging it makes up for in formula. It keeps my lips moisturized for several hours and I like the color! Like most people say, it is quite hard to squeeze, but not impossible. I hope that they revamp the packing soon though.

The product itself is nice, but the packaging is a disaster. The tube is hard to squeeze and the product doesn’t come out from the applicator. The product came out from the bottom of the packaging and all product went wasted.

This was my first time purchasing and maybe it was a manufacturing error but the gloss is extremely difficult to squeeze out. I like the color but not worth the money.

i love the formula and how it makes my lips so soft but the packaging is HORRIBLE!!! you have to squeeze it SO HARD to get the teeniest bit out. naturium needs to revamp the applicator and packaging ASAP!

MY THUMB IS LITERALLY FOREVER SORE FROM USING THESE ON A CONSISTENT DAILY BASIS! I NEED TO ASK MY HUSBAND TO HELP ME SQUEEZE THE BALM OUT- thats how bad it is! I’ve learned a hack! Warm the tube up with your hands for a minute or two and it’ll come out easier. I have a few colors & I absolutely love the formula of the balm itself- it is moisturizing & lasts forever and goes well over my lipliner. It is rather on the “stickier” balmy side but it feels like it really penetrates my lips, unlike other “glosses” where they just sit on top of the lip and don’t last. I love that I can also wear them alone. The colors are nice and subdued, esp as your spread it around, they’re not super pigmented. I am fair skinned. The red isn’t as bright as you think and looks lovely wearing alone as well as the mocha shade. As far as the tone on the pink and nude one, they on are on the “creamer” milky side if that makes sense. Anyways, love them, NOT the packaging :(

For a lip balm to be almost $10 you would expect the packaging to live up to its price point. In not even 2 days of owning, the product exploded out of the back of the tube into my hand while trying to apply it. Extremely disappointing since I love the majority of Naturium’s products. ☹️

Cannot get it out of the packaging. Had to squeeze it so hard it burst. Then it was prettt much a flat (seemingly) empty tube

Formula is fine and nice but the packaging is so awful it makes the product not worth it. It’s nearly impossible to get product out and even though I got it just two days ago the tube is basically empty (which I only discovered in my battle to try and get even minimal product out). I’m a fan of Susan Yara so I was super excited but I’m disappointed, this felt like a waste of money. For $10 I hoped for a lot more product in the tube and hoped it would actually be usable.

The lip balm itself is nice but the packaging is AWFUL. It was impossible to squeeze the product out and within a week of purchase the seam burst so the balm was coming out the wrong end.

Requires you to keep it in your pocket close to body heat in order to come out of the tube easily. The application is nice but seems to disappear quickly and seems to be leaving my lips worse off than before. The light sheen is nice without a lot of sparkle.

The lipgloss is actually great! It’s super moisturizing and not sticky which is hard to find. BUT! The packaging is awful! It’s impossible to squeeze out!

Impossible to get out of the tube

This is impossible to squeeze out of the tube and it is only half full. It feels nice on lips but I should not have to fight with the packaging

I’d like to preface by saying, I typically do not write reviews but this product is so frustrating I felt the need to inform anyone who is interested. I just bought this product today, and the applicator is what drove me to buy it. It’s a flatter top making it glide on easier (imo). As soon as I bought it and got to my car, I opened it up because I was excited to try it. BUT the product wasn’t coming out??? I squeezed harder and it did finally get some product out but not much, when I applied it I noticed it was VERY VERY thick, thicker than aquaphor/Vaseline. I didn’t think too much about it, thought once it warmed up (by my heated car seat and being underneath my leg) it would come out easier and apply easier (hard to apply because it was so thick). After I got home I tried again, I squeezed and still ridiculously difficult to get out so I squeezed harder and the bottom (where it’s clamped shut in the factory) blew out. Aside from that frustration, I decided to put it in a small container to continue to use and upon looking—the tub it was in was not even halfway full!!!! Summarized version; — ultra thick — terrible packaging (which wouldn’t be an issue if it wasn’t so incredibly thick) — doesn’t absorb into lips, just sits on top The only thing I enjoyed from this product was the applicator. 🙁

This is the worst lip balm I’ve ever tried. Super thick but not moisturizing. Also makes dry lips look worse. I’ll try again when my it’s not winter I guess but woof

I absolutely love this lip balm but I hate the packaging and the applicator! First of all, the lip balm is thick and lasts on your lips such a long time. I have the clear shade and it has the slightest vanilla scent. However, it is SO difficult to squeeze out of the tube it's really frustrating. Doesn't matter if you warm it up under your leg, etc. and the applicator is really odd shaped and uncomfortable. I wish they would change the tube and the applicator for this balm.

What everyone says about the squeeze tube being difficult is completely correct, but, in my opinion, the actual product totally outweighs this issue. I got it to test vs my Summer Fridays lip butter balm. Honestly I think this lip balm is more tinted and glossy compared to the Summer Fridays one. I find myself reaching for it more than I do the Summer Fridays

Possibly I’d like this product but it is impossible to get out of the tube. I thought it was just me until I bought other brands in similar tubes. I would return the two tubes I bought if it was possible. Do not buy.
