Naturium Tranexamic Acid Brightening Face Serum - 1 fl oz

I’m a WOC (Estee Lauder shade 4W1 for reference) with VERY stubborn old melasma and also PIH due to hormonal acne after discontinuing birth control. I’ve even used Rx hydroquinone with limited success. I’ve only been using this product for a week and I’ve already seen a difference in the look and feel of my skin. It’s starting to lighten the dark spots, flatten the uneven texture, helps to prevent acne, and my skin barrier also feels really supported. It seems almost too good to be true! I was surprised at how hydrating it feels on the skin, especially since so many hyperpigmentation products can be drying or irritating. I also use Rx Tretinoin and I think this product is a great companion for Tret. I really really really hope Naturium doesn’t discontinue this product!

I am a black woman. It has brightened my skin tremendously!I do have hyperpigmentation and it has helped with dark spots.

I feel like I saw the changes the following day. It applies smoothly and evens out dark marks very quickly. It also brightened my skin significantly.

I tried to like this after using it a couple of months but it just keeps piling and the color is off putting like it has oxidized. I think it is supposed to be brown but for a product that isn’t a bronzer I can’t see why. You can’t use it with any other Naturium products it’s just too oily and separates into little reddish balls. I really wanted a tranexamic acid serum but this doesn’t seems to do much of anything for my hyperpigmentation and I think the Kaolin or the wax in the formula makes it unusable. Every time I pump it out there’s these sticky globs that have caked up in the bottle doesn’t rub in with the rest of the product. Makes you feel like the bottle is old and shouldn’t have been sold! I wish I could get a refund. Definitely never buying this one again!! Waste of money.

I've been using this for over a month and have seen little to no change in my hyperpigmentation. Very disappointed. For those who have dark discoloration I don't think this is for us.

The product came out brown.

I bought this and it was a brownish-mustard color. Naturium said it was fine, but I don't know. It also stained my bedding. I don't know if I noticed a difference at all or not, because I still haven't finished the bottle, but I don't enjoy this product like I do the other Naturium products. This is being discontinued anyway, but it needed some work IMO. I feel like mine came to me already oxidized or something. For that reason and the fact that it stained my bedding yellow-ish, I don't even know if I'll get through the bottle. The pictures of this product online show it as a light yellow creamy color. Wasn't impressed.

I was a bit hesitant to use a tranexemic product because my skin can sometimes be too sensitive. But this productive, so far, is very gentle and has a luxe feel when applied. I look forward to putting it on in the evening during my nighttime skin care session. Looking forward to seeing it’s effects once I’ve had it a bit longer and have had more opportunities to apply it.

This was my first experience with tranexamic acid and I was hoping it would fade my hyperpigmentation and ancient acne scars. However, something in this formula consistently clogged my pores and caused minor acne, regardless of the rest of my face care routine which keeps me acne-free. If I had to guess, it was probably the pigment color that clogged my pores (just like some makeup does) which is disappointing because that's not fair to the tranexamic acid! I will say though that if your skin doesn't clog or breakout, then this product probably does deliver on what it says.

I had to purchase more of these since I have a sinking feeling that they’re discontinuing this wonderful product. I’ve been struggling with my acne for years and have stubborn scarring and hyperpigmentation to deal with as a result. This product along with regularly using Tretinoin was the only thing that finally got my skin clear!! It’s a lovely formula that did not break out my temperamental, acne-prone combination skin. Please keep this product around!!

This is hands down one of, if not the best, skincare product I have ever used for my hyperpigmentation. I have battled acne and thus hyperpigmentation (aka PIH) since highschool and have tried a lot of products. I already used and loved my results with the Naturium Tranexamic Acid serum but was very excited when this product was announced. I like that I could have a product with multiple tyrosinase inhibitors and skin brighteners in one product, especially ones I have learned work well for my skin (tranexamic acid, kojic acid, arbutin etc). I also like that the percentages of the actives are at effective levels. The treatment has a light, almost gel cream texture that I like to use after my thinner serums or alone but before my moisturizer (though I also sometimes use it in place of my moisturizer). I have combination acne prone skin and never experienced any breakouts or sensitivities with this product. I will say it can sometimes pill under sunscreen so I tend to use it at night which doesn't bother me. I purchased this when it initially launched and have used it consistently since; as for results and saw significant fading of my PIH within 4 weeks of use. This product + consistent use of sunscreen and gentle exfoliation have transformed my skin. The price point is also perfect as there are products with similar ingredients that cost 3x as much but didn't make much of a difference or broke me out. PLEASEEE NEVER DISCONTINUE THIS PRODUCT!!!!

New to Naturium . I bought this From the website a couple of weeks ago. Just started using yesterday and OMG!! I have mature dry to sensitive skin with a few stubborn hyperpigmentation spots from years of sun damage. I was concerned about sensitivity, but none so far. Initial application makes my face glow with a noticeable difference in Lightening. I do apply it on my entire face. Excited about this product for the long-term usage! Great ingredient deck. I bought three more bottles at the sale great price! I sense they’re discontinuing it.☹️ I bought The Tranaxemic acid also Hoping I’ll get similar results when this one Is unavailable. I will post pictures after some continued use. Buy it you won’t be disappointed!!

I used to use a monthly subscription company for a formula that would help with “dark spots.” This product from Naturium has faded my sun damage more in 8 days of once daily use than a year on a more expensive “speciality” product. This also helps my skin feel so incredibly smooth, I love it!

This just pills no matter what you do. I doubt any of it actually stays on your face with the amount of pilling that happens. Even if I apply it without any other products, it still pills all by itself. I’ve tried many different ways and nothing works. This is a total fail, which is a first for me with Naturium products, I love everything else I use from them.

My spots are fading after only a week of use. Formula does not irritate or dry out my skin. Will be using for foreseeable future.

This didn't work for me. I must be allergic to something in the ingredients list. I have never had this happen before but it caused redness and itching. Bummer because the formula is a great price, elegant and absorbs well.

If you need that one product that houses all skincare brightening actives then this is it . Naturium had managed again to come up with a revolutionary must have for hyperpigmentation disorders

I’ve used a few products & never got any results, some even made my acne scars worse. Within less than 3 months I’ve seen results using this.
