Turn the rotating muzzle to choose whether you want the round to go straight, left, right, or down. Your opponents may be out of your line of sight, but with this Nerf Rival Curve Shot blaster, they can still be within range, so take aim and curve your shot! Includes a 12-round side-loading internal magazine and 12 Official Nerf Rival rounds. The bolt attaches to either side for right-handed and left-handed battlers. A: Hello and thank you for your question regarding the NERF Rival Sideswipe XXI-1200 Blaster. The RIVAL high impact round travels at a speed of 90 feet per second. If the wall is typical drywell, there's no chance of damage as these are soft foam darts. The yellow foam balls will not stain or leave any color on anything.

We have some troubleshooting tips that can help resolve each issue. Please ensure batteries are new and properly inserted. Open and completely shut jam door. Ensure that no darts are jammed. Ensure clip is fully locked into place. Be sure to pull the trigger completely; waiting 3 seconds between trigger pulls to optimize functionality.

The Sideswipe is a cool space gun looking blaster The magazine is easy to load. It is a bit awkward to hold with the tiny stock being all but useless. It shoots fairly hard and is accurate as with most Rival blasters. I would recommend this one only if it's on sale. otherwise there are better Rival Blasters available from Nerf.

It Sucks. Cocking Mechanism Jams And The Internal Magizine Is Pathetic Not To Mention The "Curve Shot Mechanism " Only Work After The Rounds Fly Most Of Their Distance And Even Then I Woudnt Really Call It Curving

We bought this for my older son. He loves Nerf guns so we thought we'd step up to the Rival series. There is so much wrong with this gun. The cocking mechanism is incredibly hard to pull back (I'm an athletic 30 something and I struggled). And when you do manage to get it pulled back all the way, the ball will get jammed more often than not. The "curve" gimmick is weak at best. It might curve the ball 5 degrees off center. We returned this.

Great xmas gift for 9 year old grandson. He had a couple of other nerf guns, but this one has the small balls rather than rockets which could be set to curve. It was a big hit with him!!!
Won't take Headshot Ammo. Other than that, pretty good.

One of my metrics for overall value is whether a nerf gun can cycle generic ammo. Official Rival rounds are expensive, and I own a lot of guns so I can provide them to friends and guests for games. If a gun jams when using off-brand ammo, that significantly decreases the value of the gun to me personally. Other people may not care about that...if that's you, go for it. This thing is great in all other respects. The "curve shot" gimmick doesn't really do much. It's fine, but not super effective. The curve is inconsistent and quite shallow. But that's not why I bought it. I was looking for a high-capacity springer, and this is it. The accuracy and velocity is on par with other Rival springers, the 12-round internal mag functions well with official Rival ammo, and sliding the bolt to chamber a round is very satisfying. I wouldn't spend the full $20-25 price, but if you can find this discounted to the $15 range I think it's well worth it. Cheers.

It holds 12 rounds, it’s durable and shoots accurately. It can shoot with a left, right or downward curve. It has a trigger lock for safety and you can attach the bolt to either side so it’s great for left or right-handed players!

Every afternoon my boys are out in the yard playing with this. It is very well made. It has been dropped and also forgotten outside in the rain and it still works just like the day we got it.
