A: This isn't an espresso powder, it's an instant coffee. The texture of instant coffee is closer to a fine gravel or a course sand than to anything you'd call a powder, while espresso powder is more similar in texture to cocoa powder and powdered sugar. While all espresso powders can be used as a dry ingredient in baking or dessert applications, only some can also be reconstituted into a black coffee beverage (that's always harder to mix and worse to drink than instant coffee honestly) and those will be called "instant espresso powder." If you're ever confused as to which product you're looking at, espresso powder will ALWAYS have the word 'powder' right there on the front of the jar, and instant coffee will NEVER feature the 'powder' on its packaging since it's literally not a powder. Look for either DeLallo or King Arthur brand espresso powder and you'll definitely find what you're looking for without getting mixed up because those two brands don't even make any instant non-powder coffee products. In stores, they should be in the baking ingredient section near items like cocoa powder and chocolate chips and vanilla extract instead of the section with coffee grounds, coffee concentrates, and instant coffees.

This is the only instant coffee/espresso that I drink now. I started drinking black coffee in the beginning of 2024 to cut back on dairy and sugar. My niece bought nescafe gold because of the cute packaging for me to try. Best gift ever! Extremely smooth and almost gives you the sensation of drinking super dark chocolate. This product has become hard to find in my area. I hope it doesn't get discontinued because Nescafe has ruined other coffees for me.

The store didn't have my regular Nescafe so I got this, not knowing what it really was. Wow. When I got home and made a cup....so smooth. So velvety, so rich and goooood! A little on the pricey side but every bit worth it.

WOW so good. I'm an iced coffee lover and I've tried them all. Trader Joe's discontinued my favorite instant iced coffee and this one is even better. So rich and so good. I use oat creamer or half and half with it. Just have to be careful because it is definitely strong! I love strong coffee though and figured out the perfect ratio of espresso, ice, cold water, and creamer. I ordered the blonde to try too, but this one is amazing.

This is my Favorite espresso in blonde or intense, but definitely not happy that both lids were completely cracked when I picked up my online pickup order. Should not have been sold due to seriously cutting yourself on the lids. Good thing my kids didn’t reach in the Target bag. Will buy in store Only.

Such a hard item to find these days so when it was in stock I ordered 4. the first time I ordered online the package came & was package perfectly as these containers are glass. Each one was packaged so during transit they wouldn’t break. I expected the same care this time but my package didn’t even deliver as the courier noticed the containers must’ve broken & the damage was significant enough for them to inform target that the items were not delivered do to damage. Disappointed in the care of the such a rare item but I appreciate the quick refund being processed. Be cautious when ordering online, it could be great or be damaged.

Been making my own homemade iced coffees. Please put it back in stock! I had a good run for a couple of weeks and then BAM hasn't been in stock since. Not sure what the difference is in the two options. I've gotten the intense. I've heard blonde having more caffeine though, unsure if its true.
