Very nice upgrade from RBR20. Speed lightening fast and MUCH better coverage with this 3 unit system than I had with my 5 unit RBR20. Covers 3,000 square feet easily and even extents well into my back yard.

I had an Eero 6 system for 3 years that was provided by my ISP, but the rental price was increased so high that I could have bought this system twice over, so I decided to make a change and pulled the trigger on this system. Setup was super easy, though there were some growing pains with a couple of my smart home devices (Rachio mainly) that were easily resolved with a reset of the actual device. Speeds are quicker than the Eero, and the coverage is much better overall. Highly recommend.

Easy set up, banging signal ,style and appearance unmatched

This system has managed to help me get WiFi signal in places where other mesh systems have failed. Setup is easy, the app is user friendly, and performance is strong, even for a network with 75 connected devices. Is it expensive? Yes. Does it outperform basically every other system and justify itself by doing that? In my opinion, yes.

Overall impressive. Would be nice to have more control over 2.4ghz and 5ghz settings. Splitting those networks vs an iot only network. Port aggregation could be better. Wireless speeds are fast. Would be nice if it had all 2.5 g ports instead of one. This review is for the rbre 960. This may have changed.

Just upgraded from an older model, Orbi. So far so good, seemingly working as it should and meeting its advertised bandwidth.

I bought this to replace the RBS850 (AX6000) and its great with broadcast range / quality. However, the limited channel selection for 6E and broadcast power make it overkill for anything less than a 5,000 sq ft property.

We had the old Google Home mesh system that became quite outdated and slow, even with fiber service. The new Orbi system is amazing and lightning fast with many additional features. We should have made the jump long ago!

Ever since my first Orbi set, life has been easy. The system just takes care of itself. Before Orbi I had modems and repeaters all over the place trying to have coverage in my home, and the phone or tablet didn't always jump to the strongest signal, which meant that you had to manually select the system you wanted to be on. Now it's just an Orbi router and two satellites, and everything just connects.

Needed to extend our existing Orbi system but the satellites were no longer available for the existing model - so we had to buy a whole new system. Good thing these are reliable and easy to manage or may have decided to go a different direction.

My family and I trust Netgear and decided to upgrade from a traditional WiFi router to a mesh system. We stream in 4K, have many tablets, phones, gaming consoles and computers plus home security and other smart devices. We are experiencing speeds in excess of 1G with our XFinity cable internet. Set was super simple and we have great coverage on all theee floors of our house plus outside and the garage.

I recently bought the Orbi 960 2-pack system after upgrading from the Orbi 850 (had it in service for almost 4 years). I did not want to buy the Orbi 970 2-pack, because it was extremely overpriced, was overkill, and had one less Ethernet port on the Satellite (not sure WHY Netgear thinks 3 Ethernet ports on the Satellite on the 970 is a good idea?). The 960 is affordable WHEN it goes on sale, and is woefully adequate for Internet connections of 2 Gbps or slower. Performance wise, I see a noticeable improvement in speed on all devices compared to my 850, and the addition of the WiFi 6E 6 Ghz band is the best part. I see the most improvement on my Samsung smartphones when connected on 6 Ghz WiFi 6E.

Very easy to set up. Have a 6500 sq ft home and it works great, good speed and coverage.
