Neutrogena Face Cleansing Makeup Remover Eraser Stick - 0.04oz

I tried the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Eraser Stick, and honestly, I wasn’t too impressed. The idea behind it is great—it’s a little pen that you can use to remove makeup mistakes or stubborn spots, like eyeliner or mascara. It’s super convenient and easy to carry around, but here’s the thing: it leaves my eyelids feeling super oily. After using it to remove makeup, my eyelids felt greasy and slick, which isn’t ideal, especially if you’re trying to remove makeup without making your skin feel heavy. The scent of the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Eraser Stick is pretty neutral, which is actually a good thing. As for value for money, I feel like it’s a bit of a mixed bag. The concept is cool, and it’s convenient for spot removal, but it’s not exactly the most cost-effective if you’re using it for a full makeup removal routine. Given that it leaves my eyelids oily and requires a follow-up cleanse, I don’t think it’s the best bang for your buck compared to other makeup removers that work without leaving a greasy residue. For a small pen, it’s on the pricier side, and I’d probably recommend a traditional makeup remover or micellar water over this one for more consistent results. It’s definitely a good concept, but for me, the oily residue was just too much to ignore.

The packaging is amazing and the product works effectively. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys wearing make up and doing fun things with it.

dont erase anything, just make a mess.. even a wet wipe clean better, or water, or your finger, or whatever

It doesn’t work as intended. I tried it out on my eyeliner and it didn’t do anything except smudge it completely and in order to even “remove” the smudged make up, I had to use a paper towel. I wouldn’t recommend it, even as a regular make up remover because you’d still need a wipe to get any of the make up off your face. It’s pretty pointless for such a high price too.

I got this thinking it would help me fix makeup mistakes. It did not. The mistake just got slippery and stuff spread around. This stick broke very easily, too.

This product will remove liner or mascara left on skin after applying those products, however there is an oily film that it leaves which causes the remaining makeup to smear and wear off later. I wound up using it to get rid of remnants of eye makeup left under eyes after washing my face. It will. clean up raccoon eyes without having to rewash or use a makeup wipe. I like it for this purpose but not as a fix after makeup application. It would probably remove lip or any other makeup too, but I haven’t used it that way. The packaging is nice and there is plenty of product so it will last awhile. It swivels up like a lipstick.

Wow, this makes it easy to clean up eyeshadow and eyeliner mistakes. Only issue with it is you *have* to do foundation last, otherwise it takes that off too when you cleanup eye mistakes.

Works good on eyeliner mistakes. No tugging. No rubbing.

I use this when I make a mistake while applying my makeup I don't have to use wipes and start over I just rub the spot a little and use either a cotton ball or qtip to dry off. It's great

Really removes exactly what you are trying to remove for a quick makeup fix while not stripping off all makeup! The tip magically stays clean so you can go right to the next spot without worrying about smudging what you just took off and transferring it to another spot!.

I am a novice at eyeliner, and this eraser stick had made the process of trying to recreate cool eye makeup looks easy. It glides beautifully and is super gentle around the eyes. Why can't I find this in stores? Get it while you can!

I like. I also use this after the cleanser to get any lingering makeup. I do usually wipe with cotton pad or tissue after.

Has anyone tried this? If not, what are you waiting for?!?! I picked up a few things from Neutrogena this week and have yet to be disappointed with any of the items. I used this to touch up my mascara and eyeliner and it was like magic. Poof be gone. Lol

As I get older I'm paying more attention to being gentle with wiping the skin around my eyes. This pen and a gentle swipe of a cotton pad cleans eye makeup in seconds without wiping hard. And no sting around the eyes

This is perfect for cleaning up smudged eye makeup without having to remove all your makeup. I don't know how many times I had gotten all my make up on then when putting on my eyeliner or mascara it smeared or later in the day when when my eyeliner has given me racoon eyes. This little makeup stick works wonders in removing exactly what I want to remove and nothing more.

This product has literally made a difference so great that I’d consider it life changing. I’m currently homeless and living in my car most of the time...but regardless of unfortunate circumstances and experiencing homelessness, it doesn’t mean my love for make up went out the window! I still love make up and doing my make up! Due to my situation, doing my make up in my car is a regular day to day things for me. I’m sure you can imagine the difference this little stick made for me! Not only is it obviously extremely portable but every day doing makeup in a car....causes mistakes to occur so much more often and can be so frustrating and ultimately upsetting, because of the small amont of space! I too, as a comment above stated, have used alcohol abs burned my eyeballs trying to wipe the most stubborn make up off trying to fix an error and it just added to the frustration where I’d want to just cry! So when I saw this product, I had to try it. It was a must, period!!!! And it has changed such a huge significant part of my everyday life which is why, I consider this product life changing for my life at least (because I cannot speak on anyone else’s life or experiences) thank you neutrogena for all the time, work, effort, consideration etc. etc. etc. put into and/or towards such an amazing, top quality product!!!! Genuinely appreciated!

I love this makeup eraser. I use it especially if my eyeliner or mascara runs. It comes in handy I really recommend this product for on the go makeup touch up. Not expensive at all good buy.
