I bought this to keep my office warm, without having to heat the rest of the house during the work day. I keep a digital thermometer on my desk so I can see exactly how warm the room is at all times. This heater definitely kept the room warm, but the present temp was never accurate. I'd set it to 70 and it would get up to 78-80! I'd set it to 75 and it would turn off at 72. I still use it because it's better than nothing, but I can't "set it and forget it." It's quiet and good quality otherwise.

I really like his little heater. I took a chance buying it 6 1/2 years ago and have been pleased with it all these years. It's quiet and it's a powerful little unit. It takes the chill off when I'm in my sunroom and I prefer it to my gas fireplace.

I bought this about 2 months ago and have been using it. It worked fine but then one day i saw oil leaked around the whole heater. Not sure why because it's just been resting in the corner. Very unhappy and upset, this can be very dangerous.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I bought this about 3 months ago and now the cord burst into flames in the middle of the night. No items near the heater itself caused the fire, it was just the cord that burst into flames out of nowhere. I paid well over $100 for this to nearly burn down my apartment. Thankfully I am always careful to only leave this on when I am present in the room.

Loved the appliance’s thermostat, energy saver and timer functions. I used it during 3 45F cold nights from 9pm-5am (8 hrs). I set the thermostat at 65F, in energy saver mode, and timer for 8hrs. My house is 2 stories at 5019sf. I placed this heater centrally downstairs. It warmed up downstairs (living room, kitchen and small dining room) within 20 minutes. After additional 10 minutes, the upstairs small hallway and master bedroom were warmed up. I gave rating 4 stars because it used a lot of electricity - during those 3 nights at 8 hours set for 65F each with setting on energy saver mode, the electric usage for those nights were 7x the regular nightly usage cost without having a heater on. This usage cost was equivalent to having the house’s central heating unit (electric/gas cost) on at 55F

This heater is not silent as advertised. The buttons beep obnoxiously loud plus it makes a clicking sound that is repetitive and disruptive to our sleep. As for the heating, so far works fine- does heat up our bedroom well. Just wish it was actually quiet/ silent.,,

I bought this heater to keep a spare bedroom warm. The heater works so well I bought another one for another room. The heater is perfectly silent and produces NO odor. I see other reviews of people complaining about loud button beeps but mine does not have this problem. Beeps are very soft and are not in the least bit annoying or too loud. Overall, the heater works really well and I highly recommend it.

This product in no way operates silently as the manufacturer claims. Every single push of a button is accompanied by an incredibly loud beep and there's no apparent way to shut the beeping off.
It work, but there's no way to turn off that AWFUL beeping!

It's a pretty nice looking little unit, and the heat-up time seems a lot faster than my other radiator. But that beeping! If you're even a little bit sensitive to shrill noises you're in for pain as this thing LOUDLY beeps with every single button push, whether on the remote or on the unit. Having a timer puts this in my "absolutely essential" camp, but if there were more radiators like this available, I'm not sure I'd recommend this particular model.
