A: Thank you for asking about our Humectress Ultimate Moisture Conditioner. We do not use Diethyl phthalate (DEP), which is used to mix fragrance ingredients. Instead, we use other approaches to bring together fragrance ingredients. Also, If parabens are in a product they will always be listed. In labeling our products, our company follows the guidelines established by the International Nomenclature for Cosmetics Ingredients (INCI) process. Therefore, if we use a paraben ingredient those names will appear in the ingredient list (i.e. methylparaben). We hope this helps!

Bought to compliment the Therappe shampoo, which I love the smell of. So I was completely surprised by the overwhelming smell of the Humectress. It smells kind of like black cherry mixed with saccharine.

This is the ONLY conditioner that leaves my hair manageable and smooth. I love the scent, but more importantly, I love how healthy and shiny humectress makes my coarse, dry hair. (I live in a dry climate and have been using this product since I was a young girl in the 80s! Anything else pales in comparison.

Started using this product about a year ago and it did make my hair very soft and smooth however I noticed my hair started falling out way more than usual and I developed an itchy scalp and white heads on the back of my neck near my hair line. It took me a while to realize that it was this product that was doing it. After switching to a different product all those symptoms went away within 1 week. I will never use this product or this brand ever again! I have never had a bad reaction to any product before in my entire life like I had to this one.

I have frizzy hair that has multiple textures throughout. Highlights and heat use. I’ve used this about 4 times and my hair feels so much softer! Truly noticeable! I like to smell too, like a salon product. I use this and the heat protector spray and I’ll be trying more of their items for sure.

I wanted to try a new conditioner and thought more expensive=better but I'm better off sticking to Herbal Essences simple conditioner. I have thick, straight hair and wash it every other day. With other conditioners, I'm able to go 2-3 days without getting greasy roots, but after both times using this conditioner I noticed my scalp was getting itchy and there was a lot of areas with buildup even though I only condition the ends. I only squeeze some of the water from my conditioned ends get onto my scalp before rinsing and scrubbing my scalp thoroughly, but the formula is just too thick and greasy I think. For shampoo I use Head and Shoulders and never had a problem flaking before. I ended up doing a scalp detox with vinegar and salt to clear out the buildup. Not worth the money.
