My HG conditioner WAS the Keraphix conditioner in the dark purple bottle. Now I have boycotted the whole Brand because they started feeding into the whole “sulfate, silicone, paraben free” nonsense. To this day I have never used a conditioner without silicones that actually dismantling to detangle my fine straight hair. And I have never used a shampoo without sulfates that cleaned an oily scalp. I thought I didn’t need to turn and read the ingredients on Nexxus because the quality was always there. This isn’t the case anymore. Shame.

I wouldn’t buy for the purpose of root lifting as it’s not the best product from this line, but it does a good job as a conditioner itself and may contribute overall to root lifting.
