Q: I've noticed that the exterior of this pot-n-pan set has a shiny, black finish which is different than the exterior of the same sets sold at other retailers. Is this set from a previous year or is this set made specifically for Target?

A: Metal utensils including spatulas, spoons, whisks, and tongs are safe for use with your Ninja™ Foodi™ NeverStick™ cookware. Never use sharp instruments such as knives or forks or appliances such as electric mixers to cut, chop, or whip foods in any nonstick pan. Such use will damage the nonstick finish and void the warranty.

I’ve had this set for just over a year. The coating is already flaking off. I only use silicon utensils and never anything metal. This is extremely disappointing since Ninja is supposed to be such a reputable brand. I am extremely careful storing them and put a cloth between so nothing gets damaged at all. Of course the warranty won’t cover any chipping as it’s supposed to. I won’t buy anything from this brand again in the future.

After one year they are trashed would’ve saved the $$ and bought durable items instead I typically love ninja products but the cook wear is bad the coating is now coming off in the food not worth the few months they were decent

They worked so good when I first got them, but I’ve only had them for around 8 to 6 months now and the paint or whatever is on the pot is already chipping off when it happened to the first one. I thought it may be it was just a manufacturer defect, but now it’s happening to all!! Of them ( to make sure I take care of them. I’ve always only use sponges or gentle scrubs on them. and they still happened.)

Purchased full set of ninja pans. They worked well until they started pealing around the top where the lid touches. Called ninja, told them immediately that we did not register the pans and did not have the receipt. They video chatted with me to see the failure of their design and then wanted the receipt. I told them I already told them I didn’t have the receipt and they said sorry we can’t help you. They said find the receipt and call us back. Target has deleted transaction history on our account prior to 2022. We currently own a set of junk pans with no support from either target or ninja. Don’t waste your money.

These plans lasted about a little over a year and a half. When I first got them they were the best pans I ever had, nothing sticks to them. However if you don’t baby these pans they won’t last. You need to hand wash and dry, don’t use the dishwasher, and place something between each pan or they scratch like sheets of paper. Eventually the coating separates from the pan making them unusable.

I’ve had these for 3 years and they’re peeling already. It says you can use metal tools and that’s a lie. Save your money and buy stainless pots like I’m having to do.

I've been cooking with these pans for about a month. Unless you season the pan with a light coating of oil, they stick horribly. I bought them in the store and unfortunately didn't read the reviews first. I will say they're easy to clean -- I haven't put them in the dishwasher yet though. Anyway, I'll stick with them ( pun intended) for now but I cannot recommend them.

Funny how these have a 10 year warranty. The non-stick coating began flaking after barely a year of moderate use. It says you can put it in the dishwasher and use metal utensils on it, but we didn't even do that because we wanted it to last. We ended up buying a much cheaper cast iron pan that has a much better and more durable non-stick coating once it's seasoned. I like ninja usually, but they dropped the ball here.

The smaller saute pan that we used the most lost it's non stick quality after a year of use. I'd say we averaged 3 meals a week in it, never used any metal utensils and always hand washed. For the cost I am super disappointed. Plus, I swear I registered for the warranty and Ninja has zero record and they still want the original receipt even if you registered for and have the warranty. Who keeps reciepts for years? Time to invest in Hexclad I guess.
