We liked them until they started picking up on someone else’s radio, monitor or something not in our house hold. The kid was trying to talk to my husband through the walkie talkie… definitely not safe if some creep gets ahold of it.

This thing pretty much works really well.I've tested it out with my mom and it actually works and it's also Licensed by nintendo , which is also a good thing And then basically easily to screw in and put the batteries in.I would recommend this for eighteen year olds Would recommend

The design is cool, but only one of the walkie talkies was able to be unscrewed for the batteries. The one with luigi was drilled so far into the plastic, my dainty mini screwdriver stripped the head. I was really disappointed, but luckily my nephew didn't really know what the gift was..therefore, i will be returning this. I even tried to pry off the back and would've duct taped it, but that sucker is never coming off! It even survived being thrown at the floor in frustration...

I am on my second set , returned first,did not workonly static. Target quickly sent me a second set which has the same frequency as police radio. they are very cute for my mario fan, might try one more set but so far no luck
