Nioxin System 1 Shampoo Cleanser - 10.1 fl oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was an interesting shampoo to try. It did not lather very much, likely because it is sulfate free. The scent was very mintu but very refreshing. The scent does not last long. I believe my hair feels fuller, did not see much fall during wash day. I believe it's a good product for lightly thinning hair.

I tried the scalp treatment that came in the bundle first. It made my hair super dry and my scalp so itchy and red. I did not use the shampoo because of that reason.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The results will definitely vary person to person but I found that the Nioxin hair system works for me. I noticed that after using it for 1 month my hair felt fuller and healthier. The smell is also not unpleasant and smells of menthol/tea tree which creates an enjoyable experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I am not sure that I noticed a hair regrowth effect, I will say that this shampoo has a nice minty smell to it & feels nice as an every day shampoo (although I am not sure if it is supposed to be used every day)? Will continue to use to see if I notice any changes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this product for over 3 months now along with its paired conditioner and Scalp and Hair Treatment for Natural Hair and Light Thinning. • (Note that Nioxin has different treatment products for natural vs colored hair; and light thinning vs progressive thinning.) • I can definitely say it did the job and I noticed my hair is thicker and growing 2x faster than it did before I started using it. • In the attached pictures you can see the difference in how my scalp was very noticeable before treatment compared to 3 months after using it 2-3 times a week. Info about shampoo -strong peppermint scent which is very refreshing. It comes out of the bottle as a clear blue gel. It does leave a tingling sensation on your scalp when you use it, but it did not cause any problems for me. Note: I didn't see any progress until 1 month in. Don't expect to see results in the first few weeks. Pro- as a 10.1 FL oz bottle, it has lasted me for over 3 months and I'm still using the original bottle. Con- deAPPROVED on seller, it could be pricey. BUT I believe it is worth the price! Also after using shampoo, your hair may feel a bit rough in the shower, BUT the conditioner will make it feel softer after applying. ✔️Highly recommended for those who want to grow their hair faster and thicker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hair is usually cleaned after only one shampooing instead of two or three like other brands. Has a clean smell and a little goes a long way. My hair is noticeably thicker. I’m not saying that I’m regrowing hair, not after one bottle anyway, but it’s definitely thicker. I’ve noticed less shedding in the shower as well. I would absolutely recommend it and I will buy it.

I have asthma so this made me feel so cold and made me cough a lot because the cooling on my head wouldn’t go away. I wouldn’t buy this for myself but for anyone who likes cooling shampoos, this is for you

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I washed my hair with this shampoo 3 times to get a good feel for the product. I am natural with a 3C curl pattern. I will say that I like the way the shampoos lathers. It did not take much shampoo get get a good lather going all over my hair and I have a lot of hair. I really enjoyed the menthol or tingling sensation the shampoo had on my scalp while cleansing. It might have been the highlight and really made me feel as though my hair and my scalp were really getting cleansed and treated.

I can’t tell if it’s making a big difference with fall out honestly, but I think it is a bit. What I’ve noticed the most is it helps with my dry, flaky scalp. However, I don’t feel like the conditioner is moisturizing enough.

Although this shampoo definitely feels like it cleaned my scalp, it was way too minty and I’m not a fan of SLS. Scent is overwhelming, you do not need a lot of this product. I don’t think this shampoo did anything great for my hair, would not care to use it anymore when I’m done with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am reviewing this as a whole system, not individual products bc I think it’s important to use all 3 pieces together in order to get the best result. This was not quite as good as I expected, although it certainly helped. I suspect I need system 2 or 3 to have it make a serious impact. But it did give my hair more volume and brought back some of the curls I had somehow lost. It also helped with hair fall a little (again, I just think I need a stronger system) and I can feel new growth on my scalp. I would highly recommend this, but I would absolutely say to make sure you get the right system for your hair, don’t underestimate just how strong of one you need!

I have moderate thinning although my hair is naturally quite thick and seems to shed mostly in periods of great stress. My hair does seem slightly thicker and stronger, though I didn’t notice sn improvement in reducing breakage but this could be due to the fact I really need a haircut! My favorite part of This product is that is contains peppermint oil in it so the cooling sensation is sooo refreshing especially in this summer heat and smells so nice!
