Noritake Charlotta Platinum Set of 4 Pasta Bowls

Love the touch of elegance while the platinum pattern we choose is dishwasher safe too! Smooth finish making them easier to clean as well!

A number of years ago, I purchased Noritake Contemporary Metropolitan Gold II dishware. I went to replace a few plates that had become chipped. Metro Gold is not offered any longer, but Charlotta Gold was similar. I am happy with what I received. The gold around the rim is slightly darker than Metro Gold, but overall it is a close match, and I'm happy with it. I would order it again. I also purchased fruit bowls and soup bowls.

I bought 2 sets. The first came flawless but the second had a dinner plate with about .25 inch gold trim missing on the rim of the plate. I love the the design and its very nice place setting. Only wish the 1 plate didn’t come that way. I didn’t ask for a return as I'm just too busy to mess with it. I would have given it a 5 if they had come without the flaw on 1 plate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These plates are very pretty and they are Microwave safe which I love. They hey also don’t make that scraping sound when the silverware clanks on it. They are easy to clean. I will say the price for what you get out of the set is a little much.

Most importantly they are dishwasher and microwave safe. I a weight person when it comes to just dishes. The weight on these is perfect. No heavy at all. But they also don’t feel like they will break the first time they used.
