Vcaps empty vegetarian capsules from NOW are a new alternative to animal gelatin capsules. They are of a pharmaceutical grade of quality and they meet both the US pharmacopoeia and the European pharmacopoeia standard. They are composed of inert vegetable cellulose and do not interfere with the digestion and absorption of the ingredients contained within. Filling your own capsules provides a more pleasant and economical way to consume strong tasting herbs or vitamin powders. Each capsule typically holds 800-1,000 mg.

I use these "00" Vcaps in my capsule machine to create supplements that I just cannot find elsewhere. For example, I cut some 90,000 HU organic Starwest cayenne with some organic turmeric; create Rapunzel organic cocoa powder capsules; even occasionally make baking soda capsules for ph. Sometimes it's necessary.

I have ordered these multiple times and each time I have been very happy with the product. I make my own capsules in a capsule machine because the veg caps aren't always available in the products I want. This way I can purchase a high quality, organic product and make my own capsules. So far it has worked extremely well for me.
