Vcaps empty vegetarian capsules from NOW are a new alternative to animal gelatin capsules. They are of a pharmaceutical grade of quality and they meet both the US pharmacopoeia and the European pharmacopoeia standard. They are composed of inert vegetable cellulose and do not interfere with the digestion and absorption of the ingredients contained within. Filling your own capsules provides a more pleasant and economical way to consume strong tasting herbs or vitamin powders. Each capsule typically holds 400-500 mg.

These capsules no longer work with my essential oils - they melted - can’t make any ahead of time; over night for instance

These Vcaps save the day. I am an essential oil user and find some difficult to stand the taste of. The Vcaps allow me to put a few drops in and swallow with no bad taste. They are also made from a vegetable source and not gelatin so that makes the vegetarian in me happy. I have looked in many local stores and found that Swanson's price is by far the best. Thank you from a very satisfied customer.
