Easy, convenient, inexpensive........but what do we really know......is it making me more healthy....curing my heart disease used along with high doses of Vitamin C powder......how am I supposed to know unless I have a surgical procedure to see if the arteries are really clearing? Who is going to do that, just to see? Not me. That said I feel better, have more stamina, can walk uphill without angina.....so I'm improving compared to a year ago when I couldn't walk a block, so....better for sure, and not getting worse.

I was tired of taking 8 large 500 mg capsules per day to get 4,000 mg, split between morning and night. So I tried this product. To me, it has a slightly "milky" taste. But I have been stirring a teaspoon (2,200 mg) into 4 oz of juice, letting it sit for 15-30 minutes to completely dissolve, and then chugging it down while holding my breath. Twice a day. It mostly tastes like juice, and is very easy to do!

I give this to my cats and mix it in their wet food. This product is the best value for lysine and much easier than grinding tablets up for every meal. It is grainy though and does not dissolve easily in liquid. Sometimes it clumps together when wet instead of dissolving. Depending on the texture of the food I am mixing it in, sometimes I still have to grind it in a mortar and pestle so it will blend in. But being grainy it is less prone to turning into a dust cloud than grinding tablets.

This is a pretty good way to take Lysine, especially if you have trouble with pills. You can add it to a fruit or protein shake and it tastes fine. The only thing I don't like is that when you spoon it up, it's very fly-away, kind of like what electricity does to your hair.

I prefer to use L-Lysine in this pure powder form. It has a naturally salty taste and stirs / shakes / mixes into any liquid very easily. Taste is compatible with most anything, and not an issue. For wellness and growth, I like to use dosages of 3 to 5 grams, and I would rather put this powder into one of my Healthy Green Cocktails than add a lot more capsules or tablets to my daily regimen of supplements. I also give L-Lysine powder to my dogs and horses. I have used L-Lysine for decades, and I recommend it.

A product with no additives is hard to find so once found you keep coming back. I'm on my 3rd bottle so yes I am a repeat buyer of this supplement due to there being no additives.
