If you are taking D3 and or A this is definitely something you need to add to your daily vitamin regimen. It helps to distribute those particular vitamins to where I need them instead of overtaxing certain organs of the body. And it has silica which is amazing for bones. You need this!!

I don’t like the alfalfa that is in it. I liked the other Now Product you have been out of. Now MK-7 vitamin K-2 100mcg. 60 Veg Capsules, just vitamin K in it, no alfalfa in the product. Has Now discontinued this one? I always ordered this one.

I’ve been taking vitamin K for a few years with the hope that it works with the vitamin D and helps against bone loss in older people like me. The bone test puts me near average for bone loss per age. It’s impossible for me to know whether the vitamin is helping me or not. I am unable to tell the difference.

It is hard to evaluate, but the price and performance of K2 is well researched. This is an economical version of it. My BP has been in good control, which is a distant indication of it helping calcium going to the right places.

I have been taking D3 for many years now and in my continuing research about Vitamins and herbal supplements, I found many findings that indicate a synergistic relationship between D3 and K2. NOW is a trusted brand that I decided to add to my daily regimen about 6 months ago.
MK-4 K2

I believe it's best to take both MK-4 and MK-7 K2. MK-7 lasts longer, but MK-4 activates all the proteins such as osteocalcin. One a day of this product with an MK-7 is a complete way to supply vitamin K2. Some people might object to the alfalfa, but I think it's OK as long as it's not GMO.
This is the Useless MK-4 not the valuable MK-7

I thought that this was the same as the other Now vitamin K-2, with simply a higher number of pills..... so what a surprise when it arrived. They sneakily avoid putting MK-4 on the front label; instead they put vitamin K-2. All the info (Dr. Mercola and Oz) emphasise that the only valuable vitamin K is the Menaquinone-7 form (MK-7). That form of vitamin K is the only one that puts the calcium INTO your bones instead of ONTO your bones. .... on top of that, MK-4 is synthetically made.

Swanson's is the best place to buy vitamins for your money. Doctors tell us to take vitamin D but vitamins K2 should also be taken with the Vitamin D. and Swanson's has the "can't be beat" prices.

Quality seems typical Swanson high, but it has a lot of alfalfa too, which I didn't realize when I ordered. You might prefer to avoid that.
