Nubian Heritage Coconut and Papaya Body Lotion - 13 fz

The product is good and the price. The scent I enjoy immensely. I want to address one irritation. No! Not on my skin! Product good. But I had to do strange things to get it out of the bottle. It took two hands to squeeze after leaving the bottle upside down for awhile. And still, i had to run the bottle under hot H2O first. I squeezed the pleasantly scented product out in big globs into a Noosa Yogurt container. Repeating the process as necessary. Gotta say, the aesthetic of this is not 'beauty'

I discovered a solution to get the lotion out of the bottle . I took a pump dispenser from an empty shampoo bottle and attached it to the lotion bottle . If the pump straw is too long, just snip it off at the end till it fits the lotion bottle . It worked great for me !!

So I bought my lotion a few years ago from Walmart I believe. For years I’ve been wondering where I actually got it from so I could get more. I absolutely love the thickness. The consistency is perfect for my skin type. The scent is immaculate!!! Chef’s kiss. I see some comments about people not liking that the scent stays on the skin- I love that! I really love that it keeps me moisturized and smelling good ALL DAY!!! I have no need for perfume. People are always asking me what I have on and I simply tell them lotion. Please do not change anything about the scent and how long it lasts. If it’s a problem with others maybe a different scent will do or a diluted version but I love it just the way it is and I personally haven’t found no other lotion this rich and affordable. 10/10 I’ll always recommend

i bought this lotion a few weeks ago and absolutely LOVE it! it is thick, creamy, and smells amazing! i have been reading reviews and everyone complains about how difficult it is to get the lotion out, my motto is… where there’s a will there’s a way ☺️

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started using this lotion years ago and even found it in Barbados while on vacation 10 years ago. It has been the only moisturizer I use on my face for years and it is amazing. All three of my children use this lotion and we feel good knowing the ingredients are natural. The smell is wonderful and it is pure moisture without leaving you feeling greasy. We love this lotion! I often give this Coconut Papaya Lotion and matching bar of soap as gifts and am sure I am responsible for repeat sales. Other scents in this line are also wonderful but this one is my favorite.

I really like this lotion, although it is so thick, it should be described as a cream, and therefore, put into a jar with wide mouth. Nubian obviously doesn't listen to its customers, because for years there have been complaints about the difficulty of getting the lotion out of the bottle, especially at the bottom. Much as I love it, I won't get it again.

This lotion is lovely - smells great and is absorbed into the skin without remaining sticky on the surface. However, it is too thick to be in a bottle container ; it needs to be in a jar with a wide lid.

One thing I love about this lotion is that it's thick yet has a whipped cream texture. And when you put it on it melts like butter into your skin and makes your skin soft, moisturizer and a scent that is wonderful. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have super sensitive skin, so I'm pretty hesitant when it comes to trying new soaps and skin care products... but this stuff blew me away! Not only does it smell divine, but it also leaves skin feeling rejuvenated. The only issue I have is with the consistency-- I typically prefer less viscous moisturizers and this one felt more like a cream than a lotion to me. Aside from that, I am very pleased with this product! I'm new to the Nubian brand, but if this lotion is any indication of the quality of their other products, I will definitely be buying from them again. 10/10 absolutely recommend!

It’s not a thick lotion but not really runny either. It goes on smooth and actually soaks into your skin instead of sitting on top of it. It doesn’t make you feel slimy or sticky.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lotion smells great- the papaya and coconut scent is not too strong and smells awesome. However, as a lotion I was not impressed. It is pretty thick, so it’s somewhat difficult to get out of the container. When you apply it, you really have to rub it in to get rid of the white cast, almost like sunscreen! I probably would not purchase this again.
