I’ve been using it for a week now and I love it. It is absolutely amazing. I live in Nevada so it is quite dry and this is perfect for the face. It’s is thick and you need less than a pee size for the entire face. This is the only thing that I’ve used that I don’t have an allergic reaction to. Please continue to make this cream. Thanks!

I had never in my life had an issue with acne- maybe this one isn't formulated for faces (my neck and chest broke out too occasionally over time) but I had read really good things about it as a moisturizer. I finally realized after purchasing in August and dealing with what I assumed was sudden hormonal changes since I just turned 20- I did a little research and saw other people experienced sudden fungal acne too. This was my problem. Also not good for combination skin- super oily in some spots and extremely dry in others.

I really like this cream. It’s on the thicker side and really feels moisturizing. It doesn’t sink in to the skin as easily as others. Second ingredient after water is petrolatum, so to use this actually feels like slugging. This means I am able to use this on my lips for a nice overnight treatment. Here’s how I do it: after I wash my face, I apply the cream to my lips. On top of that, I use an ointment like Cerave to seal it all in for the night.

I have the vanicream cleanser and decided to give this a try since I like the cleanser. I’m not very impressed by it. I have dry skin and it’s especially dry when I use the cleanser so I have to lather this multiple times in order to get ride of the dryness. So if you have very dry skin, I’d recommend getting a different, more hydrating moisturizer. The mositurizer is very basic and nothing special. I’m not sure if it really does much.

I’ve tried several face and body moisturizers across a wide price range, from $8 to $150, and nothing compares to Vanicream. Both the face and body/hand moisturizers are incredible, especially if you have sensitive skin like I do. I struggle with eczema on my hands and parts of my face, and Vanicream has significantly improved it. It’s a true miracle worker, especially for the price. I highly recommend it!

I found a 3 step video on TT recommending this for normal to dry skin. @vanilla_swirlxx. She uses the bioderma gel cleanser, then double cleanses with the la roche posay effaclar (I use the medicated one for dry skin) but she uses the blue bottle, then mix a tiny bit of vanicream with some castor oil and baaaaabyyyyyy my skin looks PLUMP, glassy but not oily, and so soft moisturized. I think I’ll keep this new skin care routine.
