Nuloom Drey Striped Shag Indoor Area Rug

It looks very very cheap

We expected some off gassing but it’s been almost 2 months since we got this and the smell is only getting worse. It’s really unpleasant and a huge disappointment. Luckily it’s been nice enough to have the windows open because if we close them the whole first floor starts to smell. I’m worried it’s not going to get better and I really regret this purchase. It was our first time buying from Rugs USA after hearing good things, but I can’t say I’d recommend purchasing from them if this is the quality. Feel like I just threw money in the trash.

This rug is very soft and we love the colors. Note that the blue is very teal in color.

Honestly looks nicer in person and matched super well with my rooms. Gave some movement without being overpowering. Additionally they are super comfortable to walk on. I find myself taking off my shoes so I can stand on them and enjoy how nice they feel. Even my pups are always laying on them now.

I really like this rug a lot! I love that it was folded instead of rolled but that might be because it’s large - 9X12. It laid down nicely. It’s soft and not too long of a shag. I would definitely recommend it!

I purchased this exact rug four years ago and it was thick and soft and so well made. It lasted really well, but after 4 years I needed to replace it. Because I loved it so much, I purchased the same one, only you did not have it in an 8X12 so I got the 7X11. This time, the rug is thin and so much cheaper that I couldn't believe it. It's not "cushy" and soft like last time. What a disapointment!

The rug has a decent pile but the filament seem cheap. Not sure how durable this will be.

I purchased this rug and fell in love with how it looked in our space. Absolutely LOVES the look and feel at first. After about 1 week of having the rug out, we started noticing the chemical/ skunky type smell. We left the rug out for a bit longer and the smell only got worse. It got to the point where I had to throw it out because it smelled so bad. I have to wonder what chemicals were in it to produce that smell. It is actually so bad that since it has been removed, our hardwood floor now has the lingering smell. Our kids blankets and toys that were thrown around picked up the smell too. Also note- the material of the rug does not wear well either. In the short time it was used, it got quite matted down and not shaggy looking at all. Looked pretty bad. Save your money and pass on this one.
