OPI Nail Treatment Top Coat - Clear - 0.5 fl oz

Dries bubbly. I’m surprised since it’s a quality brand, but it’s so bad.

Worst product ever.. takes forever to dry and leaves ugly bumps on my nail polish. I thought it was the nail polish itself so I kept returning them thinking I got a bad batch or that I was horrible at applying nail polish. After the the second time using this top coat on another new polish I decided to look more into the reviews of OPI top coat and found so many similar experiences to mine.. horrible horrible product. Oh and the smell residue last for more than a day as well. I thought by paying for more it would be better but obviously I was wrong. Returning and never buying from OPI ever again.

Bubbles and does not last, my nails chip NEXT day. Essie gel like top coat is the best I’ve found. I like OPI polish so decided to try the top coat and it is a no go for me.

I’ve never had my nail polish flake off like it did with this. Manicure didn’t even last a day. I thought paying more would make a difference but it is the strangest experience I’ve had with a polish, flakes left everywhere. Try Essie, definitely worth the $!

I think I’m being punked. I painted my toes red a full 24 hours ago and decided to add the top coat today. All of a sudden y’all the red polish started smearing everywhere when it’s been dried for a full day?? I honestly feel like i just painted nail polish remover on my toes. This is hilarious. Do not buy.

Overall good but shine is not there. This top coat is interesting, my current manicure has lasted for a month with minimal chipping. I’m not sure if this product contributed to that longevity or if it was because I used the whole opi system together that it lasted so long, either way I’m happy with this product. Initially there was major bubbling and I debated taking it off, a few days passed and I noticed the bubbling disappeared? leaving a smooth surface but the shine was still lacking. I will try for the other opi top coat to hope for shiny~er results. But this is still a good product and would still recommend it, maybe this is more of a slower drying product than others so patience will yield better results.

I given this top coat so many tries and if genuinely just sucks. As other ppl have stated, it never fully dries. I applied the top coat around 10am yesterday and wore sandals all day to allow it to dry. This morning, I woke up to my nail polish smeared due to me having my feet under the sheets in my hotel bed. Just don’t get it. However, the OPI Nature Strong Top Coat is amazing and one of my favorites

Finally—a top coat that works! I used it on my DIY manicure for the first time (along with the OPI base coat and OPI polish) and it’s still going strong. I only have one small chip in my polish after 5 days—which is unheard of for me. Easy to apply, dries great, doesn’t smell horrible, highly recommend.

Not sure if the formula is messed up on the one I bought but it leaves bubbles on my nails in the top coat.

Don’t waste your money. It never cures. I tried it once and completely ruined my manicure. It never cured so it ended up all smudged and lumpy. I could literally rub it off with my fingers like goo even after waiting almost an hour for it to dry. Decided to give it another shot a few months later and the same thing happened. Just tossed it without a second thought. Disappointing for such an expensive brand.

I absolutely hated this! It leaves bubbles and it appears to never really dries. A day after putting it on everything kept leaving marks and smudges :/

The worst top coat i’ve ever used. It leaves a thousand bubbles and takes forever to try so I inevitably end up smudging the polish. It also gets thick extremely fast. I’ve purchased multiple times to give it a shot and every time it disappoints and ruins my nails.

I have let this dry for literal hours and still get smudges and imprints and it loses its gloss. I’m not sure how long you need to let it dry for it to work well but it’s longer than 2 hours and I don’t have that kind of time to be without the use of my hands. This photo is the next morning after letting my nails dry for 2.5 hours before going to bed. They were shiny when I went to bed and felt dry to the touch.

i love it. it dries soooo fast that i could put 5 coats of nail polish on and this would make it dry faster.

I never leave reviews, but I am so disappointed in this top coat. I wish I could get my money back for it. I have tried suggestions to get it to work, but nothing is helping. It's extremely thin and, no matter how much I let my nails dry, they always end up being not at all glossy and having a bizarre semi-matte smudgy effect that ruins my manicure. I've tried it so many times and have never gotten decent results; I've tried to work with it but no solutions have worked. My cheaper top coats are a million times better, so it's really disappointing that OPI (a more expensive and respected drugstore brand) is charging so much for a top coat that is AWFUL. The Essie quick dry topcoat and Holo Taco top coats have worked much better for me personally. I think Orly and other brands are used by nail salons. I don't want other people to waste your money like I did, so please go with a different and/or more affordable option. :) I was shocked, and still am, that a brand like OPI has a staple product that is this bad. I love all of their other nail polish, so it's really shocking that their top coat is so runny/thin and ineffective. It isn't sealing in anything and definitely is not glossy, it totally smudges up the top layer of your manicure and ruins the color (it's cloudy and not see through like a top coat should be). I included a photo to try to show what I mean by the cloudy smudging. I waited ages for it to dry and even used a dryer, and it still ended up being smudged after FULLY DRYING. Again, I have thoroughly tried to get this to work for months and it always loses it's glossiness quickly and ruins my manicure. I have tried everything and am saddened that nothing has helped and will have to get a new top coat from a different brand. It is NOT worth the price tag, please try a different top coat. I would return this asap if I still had the receipt info; as a broke college student, avoid making the same mistake and wasting your money. There are cheaper options that are fantastic! Good luck! :) I never leave reviews so this is quite long because I was appalled that this is still being sold, but hopefully my personal experience helps others as I have tried extensively to get this top coat to work.
