Q: I see that these units are stackable. do they connect somehow, or just rely on "stacking each leg on top of one another? would a 4 tier rack stack on a 4 tier rack with out tipping over?

A: The shoe racks are connected by wooden dowels when stacked. The wooden dowels are provided with each unit and are inserted at the top of the side stands of the shoe rack which will then connect to the second unit that is being stacked on top.

All the other shoe racks I tried barely held 3 pair of men’s size shoes, which is completely unacceptable. This rack holds all the shoes and more, up to a dozen. I returned all the other junky racks and kept this one.

This is a cheaply made (but expensive) shoe rack. The rack made cracking sounds everytime it is touched; it is not very sturdy. The visual appearance is alright but its a shoe rack.

I bought this about a month ago and am very happy with my purchase! It was super easy to assemble and the bamboo wood is a nice quality, worth the money! It fits perfect against the wall between my steps and front door. I am able to fit all of our "in season" shoes on the rack while the "out of season" shoes go into a storage bin. I also love that I can hang a towel over the top-side for drying my pups feet when she comes in from outside.
