I used this gel to set my waves or for a slick back. It is pretty light weight. Slightly more fluid than Eco Style but very comparable in hold.

I wanted to love this, but it did absolutely nothing for me. I have thick, wavy/curly hair and this didn’t hold or create a cast and the frizz stuck. I’m also not fond of the scent.

I'm not usually a 'gel' fan but read other reviews about this product so I gave it a try. I highly recommend it. It doesn't leave hair 'crunchy' or 'sticky' which has been my prior experience with gels. This helped tame my frizzies and left my hair soft and touchable.

I love that it helps keep my hair in place without making it too sticky or feeling like there's too much gunk in my hair. As a mom of two I usually always have my hair up and I can't handle having hairs on my face so this has worked great for this.

I have low porosity, curly, medium density hair and this gel works so well! I love a good cast and this gave just that. I would say that it gives a medium hold but works so good. I love the texture and consistency of the product because it has great slip!

Was looking for a good clean hair care brand and found this one. Truly obsessed! I'd say this gel is light hold (I have to refresh my hair every 2 days), but it's clean + smells like cut flowers 🤩

I have fine (but thick) wavy hair. This didn't work at all for me. Zero hold, zero clumping, and tons of frizz. I get better results with a Fructis "Pure Clean" gel, which is fairly low-hold and light-weight. Incredibly disappointed and ended up throwing out the bottle.

My fine textured, low density, wavy curly hair hates all gels…except this one! I now have bouncy curls that are not weighed down or stringy, there’s no crunch and no frizz. I will repurchase.

I don't need a lot of definition for my hair, just want something to keep it from getting too flyaway. I really like this gel; it helps to keep my hair tamed but doesn't weigh it down. Recommended!

Definitely not enough hold for my 2B curl pattern. It also feels a little drying. Other gels would hold my curls for 2-3 days but this lasts 1/2 day maybe :/

I am a curly headed gal, and I really do not care for gels not matter how much the manufacturer states it leaves hair soft and styled. This gel is not too bad in comparison to many. However, as with the leave in conditioner, it loses any moisturizing or frizz contral within a few hours after drying. Once again, it is probably fine for straight or wavy "regular" hair which many products are aimed at. Caorse hair with curls is a different ball game. I wish Odelle would come up with a styling cream that moisturizes. This brand only has gels. I do like the shampoo and conditioners and love the nice clean light scent! But the styling products are not enough

I bought this in store. It's the first Odele product I've tried, and I think it's really nice and now I'm curious about their other products. I use this to set a cast on my 2a / 2b wavy hair. I use a light leave in conditioner underneath, apply the gel, and then later scrunch in some oil on the ends. My hair gets a really nice wavy formation *without* any residue!! I really like my hair to have a clean feel to the touch without the sensation of product, so this is a total winner for me. I am also a fan of the grassy, green scent. You smell it while applying and then it disappears. Definitely one of the more elegantly scented products at Target and a relief from all of the cake/vanilla/coconut-scented products that are the norm for wavy and curly haircare products these days.

Great for styling a slick back ponytail - it helps hold your hair but I can take it out and restyle my hair after using this, doesn’t make my hair feel gross. Not my favorite smell though.

This gel leaves your hair defined, moisturized and frizz-free. It has a light scent, and it's easy to incorporate into my thick, coarse curly hair. Thank-you Odele for thinking of us allergic curly haired people!

This does almost nothing at all for my curly 3c/4a hair, no matter how much I use. Leaves my hair frizzy with no hold. 2 stars for fine ingredients and no headache-inducing scent, though it does smell like alcohol going on. I don't know who this is for, maybe wavy or straight hair might have more success.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how this product has such a great smell to it. When I apply it I love how it doesn't make your hands so sticky and has a long lasting hold in my hair. I tried many different gel for my hair but I love this one the most.
