Odele Volumizing Foam for Lift + Heat Protection Hair Mousse - 5oz

This product made my hair so soft, shiny, and BIG in the best way after my usual blowout, and the volume lasted throughout my workday! I've been dealing with postpartum hair loss, and haven't had volume like this since I was pregnant. Would definitely buy again!!

The foam does not leave a sticky residue in my hair like other products I have tried. It also adds a decent amount of volume that lasts throughout the day. I am also very happy with the amount of product in the bottle.

I was gifted this product by Gloss Angeles Confidential in exchange for a review, and I'm so grateful to have been introduced to this volumizing foam. I used it four times during the course of the testing period on freshly washed hair. The first time, I used 3 pumps as recommended for my medium-length, straight, fine hair. My hair looked fuller and had volume at the root after a blow out, but after a few hours my hair felt heavy and coated. The next three times, I only used 2 pumps, and let my hair dry naturally. The mousse enhanced the natural texture of my hair giving it a beachy-wave look that a co-worker described as "volumptuous". Even with just two pumps, I can still feel a heaviness to my hair, but it's not a crunchy feel, more like the strands are coated. That said, I will continue to use this because over all it made my hair easier to style. The scent is mild and pleasant; it reminds me of the inside of watermelon rind: fresh, a little earthy and green.

I have been loving this! I have not found something so good since John Frieda discontinued their brilliant brunette volumizing mousse!! I have thin hair that is medium in diameter, and a bit frizzy/ dry in places. I have followed the instructions that come with the product; gently towel drying my hair with a microfiber towel, styling it the way I usually do (minus other after shower products), then I shake the container, take two pumps and work it in from my roots down to my ends, concentrating on my roots. It has helped with frizz, shine, and volume! It's touchable, and once my hair dries I can brush it easily. It feels like it also adds strength and thickness to my strands. It doesn't make my hair greasy quickly either; Which is so hard for me to find in a product!! It smells good; is not overpowering. I do part my hair in the middle, massage my scalp with it, and tease it a little with my wide tooth comb, especially at my roots, before letting it air dry. I've also incorporated a rice protein conditioner bar recently, which seems to pair very well with this! I've noticed less shedding, and no allergic reactions so far! (My scalp is super sensitive!!) I will be recommending this to family members who have similar hair types to mine, and I will be repurchasing!

It left me feeling sticky and crunchy and my hair looked greasy. I had to wash it the next day! The next time, I tried using one pump and it didn't feel crunchy/sticky but it also didn't seem to add volume. Hopefully I still got some heat protection from it! It does seem like it worked for a lot of other people even though it wasn't for me. Love the price point of the brand - I'll definitely try out another of their product to see if it works for my hair.

This was my first time using Odele. First time I used it, I blow dried my hair using a round brush. My hair felt full, it had body and I had zero frizz on my 58 yr old dyed hair. The 2nd day my hair still had body with very little frizz. 2nd & 3rd time I used it I let my hair air dry, I did have more frizz than when I used the blow dryer but my hair still felt fuller. Another pro is my hair didn't look oily by the 3rd day which I appreciate bc my hair is on the oiler side. I would consider buying this product again for those times when I blow dry my hair. I feel like it didn't make much of a difference in regards to volume for my hair. It also always left my hair feeling heavy. Also, it's not my preferred product for heat protection since it's like a mousse texture. I never knew if i was using enough or too much for that purpose. Many people in the testing campaign I was a part of really enjoyed it so it definitely works for some people, I was just not one of them. I do appreciate the innovation of this product. I dont know if its a first of its kind, probably not but I have never seen a product like this. Like I said many people were raving about it so I'm glad a product like this is available at this price point.

I noticed it did create some volume on my bangs but didn't like how it felt weighed down during the day. It felt like I had used dry shampoo after my second day. My hair is mid length and straight for reference.

While I didn't notice a huge change in volume, I can say my styled hair held very long after using this product. My airwrapped style actually lasted 4 days after using this.
