OGX Thick Full Biotin Collagen Salon Size Shampoo

Oh OXG what have you done to my favourite shampoo? I have been buying the purple colour shampoo for years and I love it. It makes my hair full and soft. Used it all up so bought a new bottle a couple of weeks ago. Couldn't understand why it was a different colour but assumed it was just as good. NO it isn't. Makes my fine hair flat and heavy and also didn't lather like the old one did. Please change it back and why mess with a brilliant product. I will not be using the new formula so unless you bring it back you will have lost my custom and, reading other reviews, some others too!!!

It smelled really good actually but I don’t notice a huge difference in using it. I would actually use drugstore brands more but I’m glad I tried this one out!

Ever since I started using the OGX Biotin and Collagen shampoo , my hair has never looked so healthy. My hair used to get oily so fast, but now that I'm using it, I can go 5 days without washing my hair. It has a really nice smell, and a thick texture. It's really affordable and worth it!

I have used your old Biotin and Collagen for years and LOVED it. This new formula leaves my hair in the shower feeling like straw. I want the old formula back!!!!!!

Using the shampoo has helped me feel better about myself because it makes my hair feel soft and silky.

I have used OGX Biotin &Collagen for many, many years and loved it. It made my thin straight hair look great, and most importantly did not strip the color out of my highlighted hair. I recommended it to many people over the years, and was always happy with the product. However, I was so surprised when I recently bought a new 25 oz. bottle and used it for the first time. I actually thought I’d bought the wrong product! Instead of a creamy violet shampoo it was a thin, sticky yellow that made me fear I’d ruined my hair, since the shower feel was very unpleasant. Also, instead of the lovely floral scent, it smelled like old wax. After styling, my hair was somehow dried out and greasy at the same time. The only good thing I can say about it is that it didn’t affect the color in my hair, and my hair was shiny (but greasy). Fortunately the conditioner doesn’t seem to be changed much, except for the coloring (violet to white), and it still has the old smell. I’m very sorry to say that I won’t be using this shampoo any more. I had to throw out an almost full bottle, and will have to look for another alternative. Very disappointing, OGX.

This used to be my favorite shampoo!! But since the formula was changed it leaves my hair so greasy and stringy…. Been using it for years and the new big bottle I just opened is going to the trash. Don’t recommend this if you have oily hair! I don’t use conditioner and I dry my hair- still gross after all that.

Such a good shampoo , it leaves my husband's hair soft and smelling so good without any leave over residue . It's easy to wash out and he hasn't had any irritation with this.

Wish I would’ve liked this product but after 2 months of using I’ve definitely noticed a lot more shedding than normal . The previous product worked great

I would rate 0 if I could. Like everyone else, I loved the old formula. It was the best shampoo. The new formula is awful. My hair is frizzy and shedding like crazy. That never happened with the old formula. Please bring it back. I will no longer buy this brand.

I love love love this shampoo the sent smells really good and it makes my hair feel amazing I have recommended this brand of shampoos and conditioners to my friends and family

I had high hopes this would help strengthen my bleached hair since it had biotin and collagen in it. After 2 months of use it made my hair start thinning and shedding more!!!!!! I thought my hair was thin before but after comparing my pictures it got worse :( I do NOT recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love OGX - especially the Argan Oil line - but this did not play nicely with my hair. The shampoo itself got my hair clean enough, and I did like that it’s sulfate free so it’s not so drying. But I’ve got quite thick hair naturally. And the duo seemed to leave a weird texture to my hair that I wasn’t a fan of.

I bought the shampoo and conditioner set about two months ago. My hair before was shedding and I experience breakage as well. Since coming to OGA Biotin and Collagen my hair is more full, haven't notice breakage, and I have also noticed a significant reduction in shedding after shower. This is a great product and you have found a forever client. Like I said...Love, Love, Love.

Making a new formula was absolutely unnecessary. This new formula leaves build up in hair, no matter how well you cleanse it. The hair gets greasy and clumpy the next day. The viscosity of the shampoo is the first and most noticeable change, which is now very thick and greasy. Even though shampoo that doesn't make a lot of bubbles is healthier, this one doesn't cleanse the scalp at all. When my hair was wet in the shower, after shampooing, I noticed that it had a weird grease in it – I couldn't wash it off and it stayed stuck into my hair until now. I washed my hair yesterday. This product is mockery and caused me greater hair loss. I do not recommend. OGX, go back to your old formula.

After years I find a great shampoo for my hair and also my husband and my kids were really happy about it. Unfortunately the new formula doesn’t have the same effect on the hair as the old one. I’m really sad about it. My hair and my husband’s hair starts falling off again after using the new formula. It’s shameful for OGX to ruin such a great product. I hope they will go back to the old formula as was the best. All of my family were using this product but we decided to look for a new shampoo. I’m really disappointed.

I've been using this product for years and love it. It leaves my hair feeling thicker and fuller. The new formula makes my hair feel the same, plus it gives it a more bouncy finish, which I love. But the smell is not good. It makes my hair smell faintly of a freshly used toilet. It's not a strong smell, but as the hair in question is on my head, I can smell it all day long. Maybe a different scent combo would be nice?

I bought thi shampoo like a few weeks back and within no time it has made my hair look like a nest. I am having extreme hair loss and my head feels like a mountaing covered with snow ( that’s how much dandruff i am having). Totally waste of money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great shampoo with lots of lather and a nice scent. The packaging from OGX is always good and I agree its value matches the cost. It does get your hair nice and clean without drying it completely out, give this a try!

My daughter has fine hair, other shampoo it either is too greasy, drying, and etc. this one makes her hair look more fuller and alive. Not dull, greasy and ratty. I will buy this again and the conditioner too.
