A: Detoxifying simply refers to the product being able to deep clean your skin. There isn't a specific ingredient but in fact the entire formula that helps deliver a deep clean. A couple of key ingredients, though, are the salicylic acid and hydrated silica beads which both gently exfoliate the skin.

A: Our Olay Detoxifying Pore Scrub did have a packaging and name change. It'll no longer be in the silver and red tube with the name Regenerist Detoxifying Pore Cleanser. It will now be in a white tube with a red strip that reads Olay Detoxifying Pore Scrub with Pro-Vitamin B5. Please know that there was no formula change.

Unscented means that our products may contain a mild fragrance that's added to "mask" the odor of raw materials and ingredients we use. I love this scrub and have been using it for years. It cleans my skin without drying it out, and afterwards I feel fresh and glowy. HOWEVER, Olay changed the packaging in recent years and I HATE HATE HATE the generic white packaging they’re using now. It not only looks generic and low quality, but it easily gets moldy, which is so gross. I had to deduct one star for the crappy packaging.

Been using for years, and I don’t usually stick with a product for very long. I like to try new things but this product doesn’t dry out my skin and I don’t break out from using it plus this scrub smells so good I look forward to washing my face. Please don’t change the formula unless you can make it smell the same and work the same without as many chemicals. I’ve been looking to find ways to use “cleaner” or more natural products and I was happy to see this contains no mineral oil (can clog pores) synthetic dyes, parabens or phthalates (Pronounced THAL-ates, these chemicals, which are linked to endocrine disruption, developmental and reproductive toxicity, and cancer, have been banned from cosmetics in the European Union, but still remain prevalent in U.S. products. Ref-safecosmetics.org). For people who are extremely sensitive to scented items …I would recommend a different unscented product. Having said that, I’m sure it contains some ingredients that are less than ideal but to use 2 to 3 times a week on your face… I feel like this might be you about as safe as you can get in the United States unless you want to DIY/make your own.
