[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Find that I have to soak much longer than it says to get the gel to come off, and even after 20+ minutes, I still have to scrape a lot of it away which damages my nail. It's better than peeling off the nail polish, so I'll continue to use it, but still not great for my nails.

This soak off kit is a game changer! It’s so easy to use, I love it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used this kit a total of 3 times for myself since purchasing & it is very simple to use. I love the sponges it comes with. I was using cotton balls/pads before and there was always stringy residue. Plus these make it easy to pop back on your finger for additional soaking if the polish didn’t come off the first time. I used all the acetone in the bottle, but just refilled it with more & reused it (I love the tip on the included bottle). I do one hand at a time, so it is a bit time consuming, about 45 minutes total for removal. -1 star because the foil/pad combo wasn’t that great for me when I used it on my toes, I do prefer a stronger foil & more cotton for saturating. I don’t think I’ll be buying another kit, simply because I don’t think I will need to! Everything included seems like it’ll last (sans foils), and I love that in a product! Very pleased with all O&J products I’ve purchased over the last 3+ years & this soak-off kit is no exception.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a fan of soaking off Instant Mani press-ons, so I was hesitant to try the soak-off method of gel. But it is so easy and nondamaging! I spend about ten minutes filing off the shiny gel top coat layer, then another five to ten minutes soaking in acetone. Most of the gel flakes right off, and the remaining base coat is very easy to scrape off. Love it!

I was originally just going to get the plastic clip on ones but I really liked that this was a soft silicone sleeve. I figured it would help keep the acetone from evaporating and stay on better and I was correct. Pricier than the plastic ones but will make your life a heck of a lot easier. Because it just softens the polish and isn’t like removing normal polish you can reuse the foam pads, they don’t get dirty and just hold the acetone on your nail. Eventually they will deteriorate but I will just use one as a template to cut more. I roughed up the top we layer and let soak for prob closer to 15-20 mins and had zero issues with the polish coming off.

I really liked how easy the sponge pads inside the reusable caps made it to soak your nails in the acetone solution. I do wish the instructions would have stressed a little more how important it is to file off all of the top coat before you soak your nails.

Did not work for nail salon gel nails. Don’t waste your time or money. It took me over an hour to soak and peel them off, and my nails were still as damaged as at the nail salon when they use the electric filer

It just didn’t work. I’ve had gel for years and know what it’s like to remove it by soaking. This didn’t budge. Also, there’s pads to put in the little rubber things. Are they one use? Then what? Skip the, just by acetone and cotton balls.

I am new to gel, so knew I needed this kit. It works so well! I followed the directions and my gel came off super easily.

Took off the gel polish so fast and easy! I absolutely loved it. Definitely worth every penny.

I really love the silicone caps and felt they stayed on my nails well. I tried using this when getting rid of a gel mani. I used about half the bottle of acetone - which for some reason was hard to get out of the bottle… it worked but not as quickly or as well as I’d hoped. Maybe I’m just used to be spoiled with the peel off base coat too. It took two 20 minute soaks to get most of my gel mani off. I think I’ll forever do the peel off base coat from here on out. It was nice not having to worry about getting bubbles under the nails or anything without the peel off base coat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kit is cute, and the silicone caps are easier to use than traditional foils, but the acetate & caps included in the kit don't do anything out of the ordinary to remove a salon gel manicure. I filed the top coat and soaked my nails for 20+ minutes, but the gel polish from my local salon didn't budge. This was not surprising. Perhaps the gel polish system from Olive and June is easier to remove than a salon manicure? I wouldn't waste my money on this kit again.
