Q: Anyone else have this nail polish look cute when applied but with a few hours the color is completely gone, just a yellowish beige hue?

A: Same! A week later and it is beige with hint of peach. It's also chipping. I usually can keep my pedicure for about 1 1/2 mos. Dollar store polish is better than this!

It is very subtle, yet eye-catching (apparently) judging from the number of compliment I receive on my nails! I like this brand because it has a good quality brush and the polish stays fluid and "spreadable" unlike others that thicken and clump. Will definitely buy again.

I just finished painting my fingernails an hour ago, so I cannot tell you how this polish will withstand regular wear and tear, washing my hands and dishes, and gardening. I plan to update this review in a couple of days though. I used 2 coats of Olive & June “Hot Strawberry”, little touches of Sally Hansen’s Insta-Dri Holo-Glow “Euphoric”, and then a top coat of CQ “Crystal Clear”. In all reality, my nails looked great after just the one coat of the hot strawberry, but me being me I had to put another coat on. Next time I’ll do that. The smell is pretty strong, but I was painting my nails in the 2 car garage without ventilation. After I finished doing one hand I opened up the door the get some air flow. The brush is wide and I really like that. Many of my nail polishes have skinny brushes making it harder to get even lines. So far, so good. Hopefully the color doesn’t chip and it lasts awhile. TIP: Wash your hands (or feet) well using soap in order to wash any dirt and oils off your nail bed - I find my polish sticks on better that way. By the way, I’m 50 years old. This pink color doesn’t feel like it’s too young for me. 😁

My favorite brand of polish and I love this color. If you are a devotee to another brand’s Ballet Slipper, then this is a good match for a polish that wears a lot longer.

I like the cuticle serum, the Polish Remover Pot, the little clean up brush, and the nail strengthener for the base. I love the pot! It cleans my nails quickly and gets most if the polish off in a few seconds. If it misses anything (usually around the cuticles), I just use the sponge tip. Th cuticle serum has made my cuticles healthier. They are usually dry but not now. I switched to the top coat that I previously had, and it seems to help my nail color last longer. I'm at 6 days without needing to repaint. Next I'm going to try my own color. However, I really like the O&J colors, and I'm likely to order more soon.

The bold and unshaken color online looks like a pretty, bright periwinkle blue- neon almost. In person it’s a muted lavender purple. Disappointed at how different it was.

Very difficult to apply and was streaky. It also dries too fast so if you try to level out the streaks it just gets clumpy. It looked so bad I removed it and gave up.

I know that it can be a little scary to see a streaky first coat but, that means you’re doing it right! Your first coat of polish should always be streaky! If you’re experiencing streaking after that first coat, check to make sure you’ve let each polish coat dry in between. We always recommend painting more coats that are thin, than trying to get perfect coverage in only 2 coats. I totally understand your frustration. If your coats of polish are too thick, this can affect dry time and cause smudging. You want to make sure you’re painting very thin coats and allowing at least a minute in between coats.
