Olive & June Press-On Fake Nails - Iridescent Ghosts - Medium Oval

They’re cute, but I saw these in store and didn’t look through the pictures online so I didn’t realize they’re very transparent. The picture online doesn’t look accurate attest because they are transparent with an iridescent look. I don’t know if there is a special trick, but on mine I can see the glue and even the Olive and June logo. If you look closer on my middle finger near the cuticle, you can see it in my picture.

I am a HUGE Olive and June fan - I've been wearing the glue on nails for years and love them, no problems. But these were not good - they were too opaque - you could see right through them, including the actual glue and air bubbles. And they would. not. stay. on. The other O&J nails - legit go 2 weeks without a pop off - at least 1-3 nails came off daily. I wanted to love them - look how cute, but they were a huge miss.

As others have mentioned, these are too curved for typical nail beds and the glue took MUCH longer to settle than all other brands I've used. But the real issue here is the nails looking cheap and see through - a more opaque white pearl color here would have worked but you can see right through them. I'll be taking them off ASAP.

Cute design. However, unless you have very curved nails these are not going to work for you. I carefully chose each nail as instructed but when it came time for them to stay put, forget about it. The glue isn't very good either. It was wet and sticky long after my many attempts to make any nail work for my thumb. The other nails had so many air bubbles because they were too curved for me. I wanted these to work, there are so many cute and pretty designs.

I am a BIG O&J prezzie fan. Been wearing them consistently for almost a year. Unfortunately these are just bad. The only pair I’ve ever put on that I wish I could just immediately take off. The are so painfully sheer that you can see your nails through them. And the ghost prints look cheap. I did the white ones with hearts before and loved them. But these are throwaways unfortunately.

If I could give the zero stars, I would, these nails were probably the most difficult press on nails I’ve ever had to put on and I’ve had my fair share of press on nails experience. This specific color too you can easily see any flaws on the nails like if you get glue on top of them or if there are any air bubbles where the glue isn’t underneath making contact you can see through them. Many of the nails were too curved for my nailbeds so I had to press really hard and use quite a bit of glue and then obviously that ended up getting glue everywhere. Typically I would say that would be user error, but I truly think that this was also a press on nail problem. Will never be buying this brand again because the application was so frustrating. Hopefully at the very least they last a decent amount of time, but also if they pop off I wouldn’t be surprised. They only look ok from afar

The little ghost designs and that glowy base are perfect for that minimal aesthetic look but still having some being able to have some Halloween fun! These are more see through so if you have some staining on your nails it might come through, I don’t mind but just FWI! Also, I don’t know what magic O&J has been doing to improve the press on experience but I am happy about it! Press ons used to hurt my nails but they feel like they mold better to my natural nail! Love the shape, the nail is a little sheer so make sure you are careful with your glue application! Super comfortable and kind of minimalist!

The gossamer appearance of these nails and the subtle ghost design are beautiful! I used my O&J stick tabs to apply and I wore them for about 5 days. They fit well and the length is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After receiving these iridescent ghosties press ons, here is my review of them: At first appearance, I love their iridescent shimmer! I love how they are Halloween themed- but don't scream Halloween. The ghosties being in different poses is just adorable and I know everyone will love them! (Would love to see a similar design with regular pumpkins for those who don't celebrate Halloween!) The application experience is pretty easy to follow with, especially with the little booklet that it comes with. The nails applied very easily after the prep instructed. However, I struggled with the streakiness of the glue showing through the nails, so it kind of ruins the pretty iridescent effect. The nails themselves are super lasting as they have lasted me almost a week, even as a mom of 3. While wearing them I have been deep cleaning, doing yard work and exercise and still, I haven't seen one pop off or look "off." I would recommend Olive & June press ons to a friend, however if they are a beginner (like me) I would recommend for them to get a more opaque pattern so that the glue is not an issue. Had the streakiness of the glue not been an issue, I would have gave these a 10/10!

Only downside is how sheer the nails are (at least for me, I don’t like to see my nail visible when wearing press ons), but otherwise a cute and perfect Halloween option!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a huge O&J fan. I didn’t love the iridescent look of the nails because it was very easy to see my natural nails underneath them. The ghosts are cute with their fun flair while still being subtle. Even after following all the prep steps fully, I still had a nail come off the day after they were applied. I had another come off the day after that. The glue tabs seem to work better with the super stick mani vs the instant mani. Still a big fan of O&J this was just a miss for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really loved these ghost pressies. The little ghosts are so cute. Very subtle, but cute. The pressies are really transparent with an iridescent shimmer to them. I got compliments from a friend on how cool the iridescent effect was, especially in the sun! Even though these are Instant Mani/glue pressies I applied them using the sticky tabs and they were really solid. I pretty much only use the tabs on all types of O&J pressies and they worked really well with this set. I was a bit worried about seeing the sticky tabs under the very clear nail base but it looked really good. The nails were pretty long on me but felt very natural. I had them on for 5 days with no issues at all - only removed them because I was ready to paint new colors! I would absolutely recommend these to friends looking for a Halloween mani, but not something that screams Halloween!
