These are heavy ceramic plates that are designed with such high level of sophistication. My mother immediately became obsessed with these. When your mother goes after your dishes, you know you’ve picked something beautiful. This comes in a set of 12, with 4 plates, 4 smaller plates, and 4 bowls. The floral design is not overdone and looks nice. The only minor issue (not really an issue for me) is that the plates aren’t white enough. It’s more like a light gray base white; I guess it’s for the designs to appear more apparent. Nevertheless, this is a high quality gorgeous piece!
