Ingredients:
sterile, buffered, aqueous solution containing sodium citrate, sodium chloride, boric acid, sorbitol, aminomethylpropanol, disodium edta, two wetting agents (tetronic® 1304+ and hydraglyde® moisture matrix [eobo-41º-polyoxyethylene-polyoxybutylene]) with polyquad® (polyquaternium-1) 0.001% and aldox® (myristamidopropyl dimethylamine) 0.0006% preservatives. hydraglyde® moisture matrix is a proprietary multi-functional block copolymer that is primarily designed for wetting and lubricating silicone hydrogel lenses.

A: I wouldn't recommend it, it is soft enough for your lenses not to burn when you put them on. I would recommend you get a contact lens relief

A: No, Opti-Free PureMoist is not preservative free. Currently there are not any preservative-free multi-purpose solutions. However, Alcon makes Clear Care, which is a hydrogen peroxide-based cleaning solution that is naturally preservative-free and can be a game changer for people with sensitive eyes. Q: I can no longer find Opti Free express which I use to rinse my contacts in the morning. Is this solution good for rinsing or do the contacts need to sit in this solution for several hours before wearing? I don't want to burn my eyes....

A: Yes, this is a multi-purpose solution that you can use for rinsing your contact lenses. The contacts need to sit in the solution 6+ hours to completely disinfect them, but will not cause any burning after rinsing. However, Hydrogen Peroxide solutions should NOT be used for rinsing, they need the full 6 hours to neutralize. Sorry for my delayed response and thank you for your interest in Opti-Free!

A: Please see individual packaging for expiration date, this is typically found at the bottom of the box. We recommend discarding any unused solution six moths after first opening. Sorry for my delayed response!

I used to use their regular product but my contact lens became dry on the 3rd week (my monthly) also used off brands and I got itchy eyes. This brand helps my contacts stay moist for the 4 weeks and it doesn't irritate my eyes. But definitely rinse your case after every use and dispose after 30 days

I have been using this for years now, no issues. Mow every single time I soak my lenses in this, use my contact lens the next day, my eyes are red as can be! They must have chanhed something. I know that its not my contact lens. I switch between daily disposables, extended wear, but the second i soak them and use the next day. My eyes freak out and become so red.

This was the only contact solution that I used for years, but recently it has had a horrible mold/mildew smell and it gave me an eye infection. Alcon is ignoring all reports about this issue. Stay away from this solution!

I’ve worn contacts for 10 years and have never had this many issues with them. The solution does not clean them at all - have to rub so many times. I constantly have to take them out to rub them “clean” again before they become acceptable. They also seem to be drier when I use this solution, so they rip easily and I have to replace them earlier than I need to. My eyes have also started getting irritated. Do not recommend!!

I have used this for years with my lenses .The last few bottles I purchased had a weird smell and then I started having eye redness irritation etc. I even bought new bottles and STILL experienced redness irritation etc. I switched brands and it helped but I'm concerned about what this crap did to my eyes. I just read where the Optifree Replenish has a lawsuit out. These should have been recalled.
