The flavor is GREAT - if you like grape. It mixes quickly and thoroughly into a glass of water. The amino profile is good and, if you catch a sale price, the price isn't bad. It last for a while.

I have tried the competition and have found that what they offer does not completely dissolve and the taste is revolting, plus theirs usually doesn't include the full scope range of Amino acids, the caffeine is all natural so no hyper jitters as with a regular energy drink

This is my coffee. I don't like coffee so looked for natural energy booster. Well it doesn't disappoint. Juicy strawberry is my favorite. Grape is good. Peach lemonade taste like lemonade. Pineapple does not taste like Pineapple. I would recommend if your looking for a energy drink. Also I do not crash from this.

I use this early in the morning, I look forward to the tasty Concord Grape flavor and boost of caffeine before my hour workout. I have used it for 2 months and I believe it has helped build muscle, reduce muscle fatigue and reduce muscle soreness.

I love the fact that it has only 5 calories and 0 grams sugars per serving. It does indeed give that much needed energy boost during pre-work out sessions. It does help with faster muscle recovery post work out. I am already looking to buy other flavors of this energy powder.

With that being said I'm very particular when it comes to grape. There are very few things that I like in a grape flavor and this would have to be one that I didn't like. If I would have received this item in a different flavor I probably would have liked it. It was very hard for me to get pass the flavor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the taste of grape so I was excited to try this sample of Optimum Nutrition Essential Amino Energy Concord Grape that I got to try for free. I tried using this before cardio and working out. It definitely improved my energy levels due to the caffeine, green tea leaf extract, and green coffee bean extract. The amino blend helped with recovery and restoring hydration and focus. I liked the taste, but can see where the grape flavor is not everyone's favorite - grape flavors can run a little medicinal tasting, as some grape flavors do, and this one was sweet enough to where it tasted like candy. I liked the sustained energy boost this provided and will definitely try again, maybe in a different flavor.

Top Product I've been using ON for about 3 to 4 years and have stuck with the one flavour "Concord Grape" after trying the other flavours. Although this batch seems to have a flavour similar to diet cordial - that flavour explosion is missing. The batch is overly fluffy, in date and lacking flavour - fingers crossed is just a batch issue. Batch 0000997761
