Oribe Apres Beach Wave and Shine Spray, 2.0 oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product itself wasn’t bad, I just don’t think it worked well with my hair type (blonde/thin). It did help with my hair when I hadn’t washed it, by adding shine to it, however, I did not like the way my hair felt after using the product. It reminds me of hairspray, where my hair felt stiff and lost its softness.

Adds a lot of texture and is best used on wet hair that will be air dried. It made my wavy hair too sticky when I used the blow dryer to style my hair.

This has been my number one fav hair product across all brands for a decade. Gives waves, hold and shine! The best.

I took little time to section off and clipping up my thin locks up around my face before hitting my hair liberally with the product and the smell was great! I released the clips and turned my hair down and sprayed under the back of my head before going over once more and BOOM! I was able to hold the beachy waves for most of the afternoon and that’s GREAT for me! The glass like shine is superior to other stand alone shine products i use and makes this two in one product worth the higher price.

Light hold and shine, but wonderful fragrance! I use this product on my hair and little spritz as I walk out the door. Lots of compliments whenever I use this!

It works great for normal up to very humid climates but didn’t work at all in super dry climate - made my hair oily and limp right away.

I didn’t notice much of a difference with my regular product and routine. It was an easy addition to my regular routine and smelled nice.

It adds shine and gives my hair a little bit of hold, like after a day at the beach. I would use it on dry hair to refresh and add some texture if I were going to braid it or put it in a bun.

This spray added a ton of texture/volume, some nice shine, and really accentuated my waves! It really does what it claims to provide true beachy waves. For me it almost gives a texture similar to an aerosol dry shampoo, especially on day 2 hair. My hair is fine/medium and on the days that I want to add more texture it’s great, but I wouldn’t use this every day because of the build-up I feel on my hair, so I would say it might provide too much grit depending on preference and hair type. Other cons are price, and I’m honestly not a huge fan of the high-pressure aerosol spray because I feel like there is wasted product. I’m not the biggest fan of the scent either but it’s not horrible. But overall this is a really nice product and I actually see a difference in the look of my hair when using. I will be adding this along with the shine cream to my routine!
