This is Panax Ginseng. Its not the same as actual ginseng. There are 3 types, not panax.

I keep reordering this product because I love the lightness of it on my skin along with the tingling sensation of waking it up. I do use it all over my face including the sensitive parts of my eye lids and under eye area because it also has a nice tightening effect when it dries that makes your eyes feel "accounted for" if that makes sense. :)

I wanted to try something new to see if there is something better than what I already use. Origin was my go to brand for a lot of skin care items since early 2000s. I don't know what has happened, but a lot of the great products were either discontinued or changed in formula. Some of the newer products just don't deliver, like this one. I found it neither brightening nor retexturing/smoothing. In fact, I found it leaving my skin dehydrated and blotchy. I also found it difficult to apply as it has a sticky texture. I normally try to not leave 1-star/2-star reviews. I try to find a least one really good redeeming quality so I can give it three stars, but there is nothing in this product to find positive. I am not giving it one star because I am in a good mood, and I don't think it didn't outright damage my skin (it's recoverable with my previous product). I waited till I finished the product before leaving this review because it takes a few months before one starts to see results from a skin care product. I am so glad this is finished and I don't plan on repurchasing.

Love adding this serum to my skincare routine! It smells absolutely amazing and gives the skin an instant glow / radiant appearance. One pump is enough for the entire face and the formula is very spreadable. I think I'm on my third bottle already and I will continue to purchase this product in the future.

I've used this for about 3 months and my acne-prone super sensitive skin has brightened and cleared up so much! Ran out about 2 weeks ago and I can already see how dry and bumpy my skin is starting to look. Just purchased another bottle. I'll make sure to never run out again.

Purchased for the reviews, packaging, and because this product claimed to smooth the skin. Unfortunately, this product made my pores look bigger and my skin feel less tight, issues that I've never dealt with before while using other products. Anything this serum claims to do can be achieved with lower-cost products. I will keep using it since I've already wasted the money, but I wouldn't purchase it again. I use it alongside the Origins cleanser, which I could also do without.

I have very dry, sensitive skin with occasional breakouts. Affer using this serum for about 6 months and my skin has never looked better. It has cleared my dark spots, brightened my skin and prevents breakouts as I barely have pimples anymore. Would recommend to anyone looking for brighter, glowy skin.

I was so excited to use this product an after a week of applying it I noticed a lot of acne an some cystic acne an knew it had to be from this product so please be aware that if you have sensitive skin don't buy because it's been over a year that my skin has looked this bad it's awful

I've used this product for years and have always loved it. It has multiple ingredients that usually only come in single serums; hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, caffeine, and plant oils to calm the skin. Meaning you don't have to have a complex regimen if you use this. My face is always hydrated, smooth, and glowing when I use this product. It also helps with some of the fine lines around my eyes. I forgot how wonderful it was till I switched to the Ordinary because someone recommended it. Sure The Ordinary was cheaper but I had to buy several bottles of serum to match what this one bottle can do. Also my skin was not near as brilliant and the serum would flake off with other products. When I switched back to Orgins Ginzing serum, I immediately remembered why I love it so much. The results are immediate. Also it doesn't flake off under other products because it absorbs very well. Everyone's skin is different but this is my favorite product and I will never abandone it again. Sometimes you have to lose something to realize how great it is, I guess.

I've been using origins products more religiously lately because I haven't had a negative experience yet. I experimented with this first to see if it works well, I use it twice a day now (as part of my morning and night routine), it definitely revitalizes my skin. I apply two pumps each time and lock it in with my regular moisturizer as well. I use it before I apply my makeup on as well as part of my pre-makeup routine.
