Origins Plantscription Active Wrinkle Correcting Serum with Retinoid - 1.01 fl oz - Ulta Beauty

I am about to turn 36 and just started using retinoids in December 2024 - I used a different brand on and off for a couple weeks before I saw this hit the market. I enjoy and rely on Origins for skincare and Ulta had a great sale so I stocked up. I started using it regularly usually 2 times a day and I see a difference, mainly the lines around my nose have all but disappeared. Within the first 3 weeks I noticed them fading but thought maybe it was because I was moisturizing more. Now that they're almost gone I believe it is this serum that is responsible. The project itself is very light with a nice subtle scent. I wash and dry my face, or if I'm lazy after a long day I will use micellar water to remove my makeup, then use a toner and then apply the serum. I let it soak in for a few minutes then follow up with a thick creamy moisturizer and that's it. Btw, I've been using Age Defense with SPF 45 for years in my morning skincare. I haven't found a moisturizer with SPF that has as thick a consistency. I use a different brand moisturizer at night, applied thick almost like a mask.

I review a product and it was youthtopia. DO NOT purchase!! Horrible smelling product. They write me saying respond to help you out. I try multiple times and nothing. I go and try and review the product so it won't let me so I'll review it from here. I usually love everything from this company and have been using their products for over 20 years. Horrible customer service experience!! Total joke and then I go through the live chat asking for all my info and then there is no one "live" to help me!! So frustrated with this company!!

I've been using this serum for two months and I have definitely seen an improvement with the lines around my nose. Full disclosure, since staring the serum I have overall been sticking to a skincare routine. Possibly coincidental but Ill keep using.

Can't tell if my wrinkles are less noticeable but with my advanced age it is probably too late for that. It does absorb fast and feels good on my face. Love Origins.

I started using an eye cream from Origin. I now use a wide variety of products. My esthetician commented on how good my skin looked. I attribute it to the clean Origin products and strongly recommend Origin.

The Origins Plantscription serum is a fantastic addition to my skincare routine! It's lightweight, absorbs well, and leaves skin feeling smooth and refreshed. After a few weeks, I noticed fine lines softening, and my skin looks more firm and radiant. Great for sensitive skin—I've had no irritation at all!

I use this product 3x daily on clean skin with the Plantscription Serum, then the Plantscription SPF 25 Power anti aging cream. At night same thing, except with the Plantscription Youth Renewing Power Night cream. I'm on my 3rd Bottle of this, been using it for about 5 months without any results whatsoever. I had really hoped it would work. Oh well, I tried. Hopefully it will work for others!

Have been using this product for several months and have not noticed any difference in my lines and wrinkles. Disappointed as this product promoted itself so strongly but in the end did nothing for my skin. Waste of money.

I started using this product about 3 weeks ago. I am a 50 year old woman who spends a majority of her time outdoors. I've noticed a significant improvement in my skin since purchasing this product. My fine lines have diminished, particularly on my forehead, and my skin is much brighter and dewy. I was noticing a lot of dullness in my skin prior to starting this product and that is gone. I will continue to use this daily!

I was gifted this Botox in a Bottle-Origins PlantscriptionTM Serum w/ Retinoid from for free in exchange for my honest review. I have been using this for 4 weeks on a daily basis, morning and night. I use this before putting the moisturizer and sunscreen. I like the texture, creamy, but it's lightweight and absorbs to my skin easily. I am impressed with the result in just 4 weeks. My skin feels tighter, my fine line wrinkles around the forehead, and eyes more blurred. I really like this serum and definitely will add this to my skin care routine. And definitely recommend this!!

I was dissapointed and almost didn't try this product since most the reviews were from very young women who had been gifted a free product. But since I've been using Orihin products for 20 yrs with great benefit, I tried it. I would like to see Origins gift older women, as that is where the true evidence will be. I'm just finishing my first bottle and after 2 wks I saw good result. It's been 6 wks now, and wrinkles are more faint, lines around mouth are much less. I'm 70 and will use this product again. I am only using it every other day in evening, as my skin is sensitive and I did get redness when I used it twice a day.

I was disappointed in this product. I thought it would supplement the moisturizing features of other Plantscription products, but for me, no bueno.

I have been using this product since January, and have to say do not see any difference. I have been using Origins for over 10yrs. I use daily along with Plantscription Eye Cream and the Lifting & Firming Cream. Prior to this i was using the Multi-Powered Youth Serum and feel that works better than this new product. I noticed majority of these reviews are from people that received as a Free gift.

have been using it for a little less than 2weeks, light pleasant smell almost unnoticeable, does not irritate skin unlike their other retinol moisturizer. I use it almost every day applying after lotion and before moisturizer; and some days I use the serum instead. yet to see results!

This retinoid is amazing. Noticed my skin was breaking out more recently (signs of hormonal acne) and also had a bad reaction to a new SPF product I had purchased that left me with a cystic bump on my chin. I introduced Black Seed Oil daily and take it orally, also applying tea tree oil on my breakout and combined with this Origins serum and approx two weeks later the breakouts have diminished a lot. I have sensitive skin so please try this product if you're battling with hormonal cystic acne. I will be repurchasing this product as long as Origins make it:)

How I used it: Washed my face using Check and Balances Frothy Face Wash then applied 1-2 pumps per the directions. Did not apply any other products. What I observed: It was much lighter than my usual moisturizer which is normal for a serum but I felt that it did not leave my skin feeling hydrated. The next morning when I applied it, I noticed it left a burning sensation which eventually subsided. I put some more on at nighttime and the burning continued. By the next day my skin was red, and breaking out in a rash. I stopped using it and now, a few days later, my skin is dry, peeling and has a leathery feel where it broke out so I assume it's healing from the burning which has subsided for the most part but now I'm left with rough dry skin. My comments: The product says it's supposed to be good for sensitive skin so I'm not sure what is happening. I will say though, a while ago I had to stop using the drink up intensive mask because I developed a similar reaction to it. That was after using it for a while so maybe there is a common ingredient in it that does not agree with my skin. I asked my doctor about this reaction and she said I t's fairly typical of products with retinol and I should not be applying daily but rather once every other day. If that's the case, perhaps the "how to use" should be updated. I'm sad I didn't have the amazing experience that other reviewers had, I'm over 40 and starting to pay attention to the emergence of fine wrinkles. Unfortunately, I returned this product and cannot recommend it based on my experience.

Love this serum gifted by Origins! Makes my skin feel so glowly. Only used it for a few weeks now and I can see a difference in the bounce of my skin. Forehead lines looks more hydrated and less pronounced. Works great with my sensitive skin.

This serum exceed my expectations! it's very gentle on my skin and it has a very refreshing citrus scent. It said it needed two weeks to show significant results, but I already see my skin become more tight after one night's use. I am very surprised and I love it!
