Description
Origins Milky Oil gentle cleanser helps melt makeup and dissolve impurities with Rice Oil and Almond Oil—softens skin, too, and is great for a double cleanse. A quick shake of the bottle turns this bi-phase formula into a refreshing, milky cleanser and makeup remover. Rice Oil and Almond Oil help dissolve impurities and long-wear color, while Squalane and plant-derived Glycerin help soften skin.
How to Use:
Use morning and night. Shake well to activate. Gently smooth onto dry face, lips and eyes, then add warm water and massage until milky. Rinse clean to remove makeup and impurities. Can be used alone or as the first step in a double-cleansing routine.
Formulated Without: 1,500+ ingredients in compliance with the EU’s stringent regulations. In addition, we are also free of: Parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde and formaldehyde-releasing agents, sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), mineral oil, petrolatum, paraffin, diethanolamine (DEA), polyethylene beads and animal ingredients (except cruelty-free honey and beeswax in select formulas). We are Vegetarian and also offer many formulas that are Vegan (free of animal-derived ingredients).

I was very hopeful for this product, but I found it to be kinda mediocre for a bi-phase cleanser. 1. I found that it did not do anything for the sebaceous filaments on my nose (waxy round "plugs" from my nose pores), while other first step oil cleansers are effective at removing them. I ended up using a 3rd step mith a microexfoliant (which I never use) after my 2nd cleanser, and basically ended up irritating my skin. 2. It is terrible for removing eye makeup because it is so irritating. I kept my eyes tightly closed to remove mascara but my eyelids became red and swollen using this anyway. I thought the ingredients sounded so great but I don't think I can use this because of how much it hurts my eyes. It might be OK for some people, so I give it 2 stars.

I don't have sensitive skin at all, but this oil irritated the skin around my eyes. It was too painful to continue so I quickly washed it off and used my HG oil, which is gentle. I can't say I recommend this because I couldn't even get past the burning to see if it removed my eye makeup.

It's a yikes from me. I've really tried to like it and forced myself to use it multiple times, besides the fact that it feels awful, it doesnt remove makeup well at all, especially around eyes. I got it for 50% off during 21 days of beauty and I feel like I still overpaid. I have to use makeup remover and a 2nd/3rd cleanse of anither product to remove the makeup. Better and cheaper cleansers out there that actually work.

This oil is pretty greasy! It felt really heavy compared to other make up removal facial oils that have used in the past. Did not care for the smell. This oil has a weird scent to it.

Smells really bad. Not like off-putting, but I wonder every time I use it if it's gone bad or even safe to put on my skin. Doesn't glide along skin smoothly so you have to keep applying more and more. I love the Checks and Balances foaming cleanser so I thought this would be a hit. Can't be used around eyes like others say. This one product has basically turned me off from the whole brand. I feel bamboozled. There are cheaper oil cleansers that don't smell like burning tires and don't burn your eyes. Pass.

I've been using this for a couple months now. Most of my make up does come off pretty easily. I am impressed on how well it loosens my makeup around my eyes. Sometimes I need wipe off the remaining makeup with cleansing wipes (I use the Burts Bee's brand).

I'm a long term fan of Origins. The oil did the job but hurt my eyes. Yes, it's clean up your eye make up but stings your eyes. I won't purchase again.

It’s thicker than others I’ve tried and doesn’t quite get “milky” when you add water like others. Also doesn’t remove my eye makeup as well. I don’t dislike it enough to return it- I’ll use it. But I won’t repurchase. I’ll go back to the Dermalogica Precleanse. More money but worth it!

I give this a 20 out 10!!! By far the best makeup remover/face wash. In ONE use everything comes off- unlike other removers where you need a cotton swab or wipe and takes multiple rounds. This is gentle- doesnt burn your eyes, leave your skin SO soft and moisturized. You dont even need a lot of product- a few drops. Must try…

I had high hopes. With the oil layer, i thought that would help wash out mascara. But it works just like a basic cleanser. Even with using this with my cleanser, I still got the same result as with just using my cleanser alone. Now I don't know what to do with this bottle.

I LOVE Origins, and I'm a big oil cleanser fan, so I was so excited to try this product!! Overall, like it quite a bit, but the packaging is difficult for me to get behind. As someone who usually removes their makeup in the shower, having a pump on this would be sooo much easier. The cleanser itself was a little bit thick in comparison to my favorite oil cleansers, but I can get past that because of how great it worked and made my skin feel.
