Used to be 22 slices per 12 oz, now is 18slices per 12oz & much thicker. This last package was only 15 slices per 12oz AND Rediculously thick & practically uncookable. Looks like the size of pork you’d use for seasoning.

Couldn’t even eat it. The one time I don’t check the date at the store and it’s expired in may 2024. We are in July 2024 when I’m writing. I purchase it July 12 in store.

This brand had been my exclusive favorite for decades by being microwaveable and meaty in ways like regular bacon. This year (2023) the recipe has changed for the worse. Thinner, dry with a papery texture.
