I have been doing my research on juicers for sometime now! I have in the past couple of months started a weight-loss journey for health reasons. I had a stroke 2 years ago, which caught me by a big surprise just after my 39th birthday. Since then, my motivation to do much (more the scare of something worse happening) caused me to gain weight in a very unhealthy manner. I feel as if a juicer would be a fantastic change for my drinks from home!! The Oster brand self-cleaning seems to be a good value for the product after other reviews I've read in my own research. The quality seems pretty great for the price. Any advice from anyone who has tried this particular juicer or ones similar?

I am so disappointed because after couple of use the juicer it's not working.Its brand new but do nothing.I try to contact the Amazon,where I bought ,but I was told to contact the Oster.I had a hard time filling online a form.The picture that I took that form can accept it.So,I don't know what to do.

If you’re wondering whether or not the self-cleaning function is a must, I’m here to tell you that it is! This juicer is so easy to use and clean. I have made a variety of juices such as apple, carrot, celery, and cucumber.

I've had the juicer for about 1 month and have used it once a day. One side of the locking arm has popped out and won't screw back in. There are no broken parts, just popped out. I had trouble before this too, I often had to re-adjust things at least 5 times until the machine would turn on every day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really into juicing now especially celery juice. I had an issue with other juicers making juices with ginger, beets, and turmeric. With Oster® Self-Cleaning Professional Juice Extractor, Stainless Steel Juicer using speed number 5 did the job for me with the root vegetables. The good tip I learned from my mother is to reuse pulps two more times to extract all the juice out before throwing it out. You can get more juice out that way. It is pretty loud but it is expected with a 1000 watt motor. I really like the extra-large chute that is perfect for different sizes and shapes of fruits and vegetables. The parts are BPA-free and dishwasher safe. I use this juicer at least two-three times a week and so far no issue. The auto cleaner does a okjob cleaning but I still have to clean it myself. It is not terrible to clean it as I always rinse it after auto cleaning. I do put parts once a week in the dishwasher to keep them super clean.

Overall, I'm pleased with the ease of use and the quality of juice that I get. It's a great way to use leftover fruits and veggies that don't get eaten at meals, and a great way to get enjoy fresh fruits and veggies when on a soft diet. It says it's dishwasher safe on the top shelf and I've found that to be true. The pieces are bulky and not all the pieces even fit on the top shelf of my dishwasher, so there's still handwashing. The self-cleaning feature refers to a setting that enables you to rinse the blade. In personal experience, I don't find that anything is fully cleaned with this feature. If I remove the cover and rinse that first, then the blade is nearly cleaned after self-cleaning. This seems useful if you're wanting to make a few different drinks in a day and don't want to contaminate flavors. Otherwise, the whole thing really needs to be disassembled and washed on a daily basis. My only other regret is the general size. While it's actually pretty compact for what I think of as a juicer, my tiny kitchen struggles to contain it.

It has a reservoir to catch the juice so you don’t need to worry about using a glass or other container. Storage can be tricky inside my cabinets because it’s a little tall fully assembled, but removing a few pieces make it easier. The removable pieces can be washed by hand or dishwasher. All in all it’s a great product

I bought the juicer not even a month ago, used it three times and it already stopped working. I let it rest and cool down like it said to do so online and it still won’t turn on. I was already disappointed with it because it’s not at all self cleaning. Now on top of that, it broke after 3 uses. Not worth it considering the price tag. I would rate it 0/5 if I could.

The juicer came out of the box mostly assembled and was very simple to use. I experimented with several types of fruits, vegetables and leafy greens and easily blended everything I put in. When it came time for clean up I followed the instructions for the self clean but found I still needed to clean it a little more thoroughly. I would recommend this product if you are in the market for a juicer.

It's very easier to use (although the user manual was not written very well). I washed all removable parts, assembled them, wash and peel veggies and fruits, and push it down the food chute gently with the pusher, within a minute I get fresh juice coming out from the juicer. A large pear and a small carrot make an 8oz cup of juice. This juicer has a self cleaning function. Cleaning manually is easy too. Just rinse the parts, and scrub the metal filter gently with a sponge, and it's done! I have this juicer and I think it'll encourage me to consume more healthy vegetables and fruits from now on.

I took it out of the box and was so excited to get started. The first thing I noticed is there are so many parts to clean! Oh my, I don't know what I was expecting but when I read self cleaning I guess I thought less cleaning? After getting everything prepared to start juicing I got to it. I have been trying to do smoothies with my blender more often for health reasons but I hate the chunks and pulp. After juicing a few carrots just to try it out and get the hang of it I was surprised to see that it was still pretty pulpy but not chunky but not juice like. I have included pictures and a video of my first use. After this I tried doing an apple, which was much tastier. However it is just something about the consistency. Life I said, this is my first juicer, so I was not sure what to expect! I am hoping to learn to love it and will keep trying to use it. The self cleaning options isn't bad but I still wash each part after doing the self cleaning. I do not feel like it takes all the sticky off of the pieces.

We have been juicing everything to try new mixes and the whole family is enjoying our daily fresh juices. The XL capacity fits so many fruits and veggies with less prep. My previous juicer, I had to cut everything down to sticks so they would fit to be juiced. There is minimal waste, it does an amazing job processing the fruits and veggies.
