Oster 6 Cup Table Top Blender

I bought this blender for our rental property and it’s been great. On current visit, went to use it and it wouldn’t turn on. Took apart, and noticed rubber ring for blade is missing. Don’t know if this is reason it doesn’t work, but thought I’d replace before buying a new blender. Where can I purchase new ring?

Hello, i think one of my roomates took it even tho i paid for the blender in full cuz its mine and i let them use it. anyway, the jar is missing for about 3 days so far and of course the cover on top of it and the blades etc.. the only thing i have at the moment is the bottom half of the machines which from now on im keeping it in my room. can you help me find these products and take a look at what i have left with right now. this is unbelievable

The glass blender container is quite heavy without anything in it, plus, I don't want the blade to unscrew and have to wash and wait for the rubber gasket to dry before re-assembling after each use. So I went to a less expensive model with a plastic container that I can just wash out and dry in my dishdrainer.

I bought this as an alternative to more expensive blenders for juicing because it has a strong motor and a glass jar and was priced much lower. It's worked great for me. I use it a lot for making smoothies from apples and kale and also use it as a regular blender for liquids.

The Oster blender has performed beyond my expectations and highly recommend it.

BOught this in September and only used it 4 times. SHattered while running. a safety issue as well.

This is the second cutting blade I have bought. It slides up and down and leaks out from bottom. It is not the seals, I have replaced them as well. The cutting blade, moves up and down and is sloppy. Then it leaks where the "star" point is on the blender. I have just a blending blade and it does not move up and down like this one is. Nor does it leak.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved my blender for smoothies, but all of a sudden it started sucking the gasket into the jar, and chewing it up. So until I can figure out what the problem is? The only thing this is good for is wasting food.

I bought the blender a year ago. Used perhaps 20-30 times. The cutting blade leaks through where it fits onto the blender...At first I thought perhaps I hadn't tightened the screw part enough . No wasn't that was the blade mechanism itself. I ordered a new blade, hasn't arrived yet. Give it another chance.

I have gone through all kinds of budget friendly blenders over the years, and though paying a lot more for the pricier, high-performance models seemed a better option, the money wasn't there to do so. I had an older Oster that was leaky and beat up from overuse that needed new blades and gaskets, but hubby resorted to just buying other cheap blenders, again and again when needed....and would end up using the old leaky Oster when they died! Finally I just ordered the parts and enjoyed it's use for many more years. When the motor started to smell funny, we opted to put it back into storage and this time get the new Oster reverse crush model, since smoothies and sauces are a big item here! I LOVE it! It is amazing for blending various ingredients in a smoothie, adding even ice and frozen items, all liquidized quite nicely! I am thrilled that the Oster continues to utilize all metal drive parts, unlike so many competitors...that fact, the price range, and the continued high ratings will keep an Oster in my kitchen!

This blender is a disappointment. I use it primarily to make smoothies, using frozen fruit. The blender rarely blends the fruit without my having to stop the process and use a long wooden spoon to stir up bits of frozen fruit that get clogged in the blades. It doesn't thoroughly "smooth" the smoothies. I'm going back to Cuisinart.

I use my blender every day. It doesn't bog down and it crushes ice well with the right blades. I am able to use all my old pitchers from earlier Osters which I find a plus.

This is the best blender ever, I've lost 160 lbs., using the blender!! I do everything with it, smoothies, green drinks, and started all the ingredients in it, that needed to be chopped for homemade ice creams, salsa, you name it and it will do the job!

I have had this blender for years and use it all the time. Makes great blended drinks and I love the reversible feature. I can walk away from it and it "just knows" when to stop. I also use the chop food feature a lot. All uniform sizes.

I have had this blender for about 3 months now and I use it daily for my morning juicing. It can blend anything! I love it It's worth the 60$

I loved this blender for its pre-programmed settings and the durable glass pitcher. However, the removable "screw" used to secure the blade to the pitcher is made of plastic and broke within 10 uses, rendering the entire blender unusable. This should have been designed to last despite being removed for cleaning as intended.
