I was looking for a good low-fat, high protein snack and found this on sale. I like the size and texture of the meat stick, but the Teriyaki is EXTREMELY salty. I will probably try Ostrim in different flavor next time, but not buying this one again.

I purchased both of Ostrim's Beef & Ostrich Plain & this one, with the Teriyaki. Although the flavor was good, I found it too salty for my needs. It does satiate your hunger, but I'm not into the salty taste of the product. Still it's a good, quick pick-me-up to eat in the afternoon with 8 oz. of water.

I no longer eat meat, but if i did these would be a regular purchase. I used to buy them all the time and would pair one with a cheese stick. The arent fatty like the meat sticks you would buy in the store and they have a really good flavor. I wish they didnt have nitrates and were organic but theyre still a good on the go snack and dont let the ostrich part throw you, they taste like lean beef
