OtterBox Apple iPhone 16 Defender Series Pro XT Clear Case - Dark Side

I love OtterBox cases. I’ve been using them since my iPhone 4.

I love the look of this case and I feel like it is really giving my phone great protection.

It’s very slim and I love the color! Just hard to put on at first because I got worried I would break it or it wouldn't stay together. But once it’s on it feels pretty sturdy! There is a little hole on the bottom left to attach a wrist strap! It would be nice if they had one on the bottom right as well since I normally use my phone on my right hand, but nonetheless it’s great! I have been using Otterbox for years, and they never disappoint!

Great case not too bulky but great protection and you get to see you phone color.

This is my second case. The first one withstood whatever I put it through and protected my phone. The case broke but my phone was safe.

I mostly enjoy the case, and it has protected my phone so far. I enjoy that it is clear and I finally have the ability to see my phone and protect it at the same time. Unfortunately, it seems that water gets into the back of the case extremely easily. The case works great with MagSafe. The case already has a small crack on the edge from a very short drop (I think is was about a 2-3 for fall or less). I can see the crack and feel the raised edge, but the case feels stable still. I would like to go back to the regular Defender style, but I am hesitating due to the additional cost of a new case and the fact that I cannot get a case the same color as my phone. Overall, it’s not a bad case, but I think I prefer the regular Defender case.

Love this red brick color, the sturdiness yet slimness of this case.

Summary: overall, happy with the purchase but the ultimate test will be when the phone is dropped. Fingers are crossed. Build - looks well constructed, but time will tell how it holds up after extended use. Ergonomics - on the larger side, but slowly getting used to it but overall the feel is good though. Style - Otterbox has never been known for it's style but the cases could use some additional color choices, i.e., ones that compliment the colors of the iPhone. Functionality - mixed on the functional design, i.e., some are nice such as the flip cover for the e.g., the USB-C port which protects the port from lint / dust etc., where as the case has openings which do not protect the phone which could potentially be a vulnerability point. Price - on the high end.

Good case no complain, it does the job it needs to do.

Fits good to phone but the holster doesn’t work with it correctly

So far I’m satisfied with the quality. Fits the phone great. My only complaint is, when I purchased, it would come with a coupon to get a free holster which I didn’t get. I wasn’t able to get through over the phone to get any more information as to how to get it.

Fits my new iPhone 16 well. Love the color and the fit.

Feels good in hands. Like the see through on the back and the rubber around the sides.

I don't like the fact that I have to clip it in upside down to get it to catch on the holster. There is only one snap-in spot on the case for the holster and it is on the wrong side because of the large cut out for the camera button. If I put it in the clip on the other side of the case, it does not secure the phone adequately. This is hugely annoying and I would not recommend this case or holster as it currently is.

I've had it before so I know it works perfectly. Take good care of the phone. It's for my daughter.

Great, durable case and easily able to charge without plugging in! Very happy with this!

Love the color choice for this! It is light weight and feels good to the hand. Downfalls…1) I had to order the holster and pay for it so I had one to use while waiting for the free one to arrive. 2) the phone holder only clips into the holster one way so if you want to wear on right hip, the phone is upside down when detached and raised.

Great for the most part, but there is a significant gap of protection. The “camera control” button has a lowered edge that, if the phone impacts at just the right angle, does not protect the screen and part of the side of the phone. But for most drops onto flat surfaces, the raised edges around the screen will do the job. Get a screen protector and AppleCare if you’re gonna get this one. Three stars for its feel and weight (not too heavy, comfy in hand, feels sturdy). Very difficult to put on - you have to feel like you’re gonna rip the rubber off.

Great product. Already tested it unintentionally and it performed perfectly as expected.
