[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kiddo has been begging me for a doll, but he didn’t want a baby doll. This is PERFECT and he’s so excited the doll looks like him. The detail on the doll is awesome and it came with lots of accessories. The weight is nice and the eyes blink. It feels very “substantial” and reminds me of the dolls I had when I was a kid.

It came with so many high quality accessories, his little soccer outfit was adorable, and we loved that they could have a doll that looked like them. So far, he has withstood being roughly played with by my 3 boys and still looks brand new, so seems to be durable as well as adorable! Now I need to get a couple more so that they each have one to play with!

It was so easy to open using mostly tape and a few brackets to hold Mateo in place. I go nuts over all the zip ties to get things out so this was off to a good start. I love the fact that a boy or girl can play with Mateo but the packaging was very girlie. Anyway, Mateo has all the accessories! The water bottle was rather small but everything else was scaled wonderfully. My child has been playing nonstop with Mateo. The only thing I point out is that the knees and elbows don’t bend and that had my little one slightly annoyed but quickly got past it. This is an adorable doll with a super cool hair cut. I would definitely recommend this to any little boy or girl. We love Mateo!

The difference accessories help make playing with it more fun. The eyes do open and close. The hair was very stiff and the rest of the head was velvety feeling. The shoe laces are easy to untie so I double knotted them so they don’t come undone as much.
