I purchased the ring online as a bday gift for my husband on Dec 24,2024 and picked it up from Target store at College Park, San Jose. Due to illness and death in the family, he could not really test the ring until weeks after. He found it too small. We went to the same store that I picked the item from at College Park, San Jose and they refused to take back the item on Jan 26 saying I was two days late, although most items are returnable till Jan 31 on the holiday schedule, nor were they willing to exchange for a larger size.

I’m new to Oura ring. I always assumed I wouldn’t see any value in wearing one as an Apple Watch user. While some metrics are still calibrating, I’m impressed by the depth of the insights and recommendations compared to my Watch. I’m also pleased with the battery life.

The function of the ring is fine, but after just 6 days of wear, it’s already scratched and the gold is scraping off. I’ve been wearing it 24/7, but extra careful of what I’m doing and it still has happened. I understand and expect it after time, but more than just 6 days! I’m not sure if the silver would be better but then don’t offer the different finishes if they can’t hold up to everyday wear.

It’s absurd to pay more for a color (rose gold, gold) when the product is made of the same material compared to other colors (silver). Also, not only do you pay significantly more for this ring than competitors, but there’s also a subscription fee. The Ultrahuman ring is more affordable and doesn’t charge you to use the product you’ve already paid for.

The information the rings gives you truly is incredible. I’m very info driven and this is very detailed. The BIGGEST problem with the Oura Ring is the battery. I had a generation 2 that had to be replaced 3 times in 2 years. I then bought this generation 4 and within just 3 short weeks, the battery took a crap and it had to be replaced. I’ve had it a few weeks and I’m just constantly worried it’s going to die again. You’re taking a risk buying this honestly. They have some serious work to do on their product until it’s great.

I received this product in mid November as a gift. It was easy to set up, pair, etc. The info it provides is great and I enjoyed seeing my sleep score, readiness, etc. However, I had issues with the battery from almost the beginning of use. A battery charge never lasted more than about 4 days and after a couple of weeks the charge on the battery lasted less and less. I’m now having to charge twice, or three times, a day. A fully charged ring has not even made it through the night the last three nights, recording my sleep as 3 to 4 hours less than my actual time. Oura is suppose to be sending me a new ring due to identified problems with the battery. I hope my next ring works as described and I can then offer a positive review on the product.

I was really excited about the Oura Ring Gen 4, and for the first two weeks, it worked great. I wore it to sleep, during workouts, and throughout my day, and the tracking seemed solid. However, out of nowhere, it disconnected from my phone and wouldn’t reconnect no matter what I tried. The ring just completely died. The worst part was the customer support—it was slow, unhelpful, and made the whole situation even more frustrating. I ended up returning the ring and going back to my Apple Watch, which has been far more reliable. I had high hopes for Oura, but this was a huge letdown.

Have had it for 2 days so far and long story short… apparently I’ve walked 10 miles in only 6,000 steps somehow. So this thing must think I’m 8ft tall or something… unfortunately don’t think the accuracy will improve but got it through my HSA plan so might as well keep getting it a try. An Apple Watch is definitely more accurate. Look and feel are greet. Super comfy and honestly looks kind of cool. Really hope the accuracy improves but not optimistic. To anyone thinking of buying this - save your money.

I've been using the Oura ring for more than a year now. The product is excellent and provides really useful sleep data. I also use it for my runs and the GPS feature tracks my route, heart rate, splits and pace. Recently, I had an issue syncing to my phone and the Oura team dealt with my problem and sent me a replacement ring pronto. I strongly endorse this product.

It is very comfortable and very accurate. As a mom who wakes frequently in the night to care for a baby it’s nice to see my sleep stats and they are very accurate. It takes a week or so for the ring to “learn you” so give it some time. I have had it for 2 weeks now and I’m loving all the features. It comes with a charger and it charges very quickly. Syncs up to your phone app no issues you just need Bluetooth. Very easy to use. I much prefer this over my Apple Watch.

Have not taken it off since I got it. I got one for my reluctant husband too, he knows he doesn’t sleep well and doesn’t want a ring to tell him. But recently he’s started seeing improvements and loves it! The insight beyond just telling you some number, and customized recommendations are incredibly helpful. My stress level was super interesting as I map back to my meeting schedules - some meetings and people spike my stress! So I can be mindful, proactively take steps to mitigate and remain productive. I life weights daily and wear a glove to protect it, it’s working perfectly fine.

I’ve seen many good reviews on the Oura ring and talked to people personally and they’ve said how much they liked it. I purchased the Evie ring which is about $100-50 less than the oura ring and doesn’t come with a membership fee. However it does not give as much insight as an oura ring. I recently just decided to purchase the oura ring as they have come out with the gen 4. I wore it for a total of 5 days, one of the days in which I worked (I work retail), and my ring is completely damaged. After a few days I noticed some light surface level scratches but nothing to bad but after working for 3 hours at my job there is deep scratches into the ring. I did not have this issue with my Evie ring and am very careful overall. I even throughout my day was trying not to use the hand it’s on. With this being said I do not in anyway think it is worth $350 plus $69.99 for a yearly membership. I immediately am canceling my membership and returning the ring.
