Q: There is paper-like cardboard around where the lightbult insertion goes/twists into. Is this intended to be there? I tried to take it out, but it is wedged in there incredibly tight. Thank you!

The dimmer knob looks at feels like a dimmer knob, but it turns on at full brightness through the whole range. This is using the included dimmable LED bulb as well as well trying an incandescent, which should work with any true dimmer. There’s no other explanation for why it won’t dim unless it wasn’t wired right, or is a defective or counterfeit internal component. Otherwise it works, but not as advertised.

I love this lamp, I think it's the cutest ever! The dimmable feature is really nice as well. But like many others, mine stopped working after about a year and a half. It's such a bummer because I'd like to replace it, but reading through the reviews tells me I will run into the same problem again later, and it's too expensive for me to keep rebuying over and over :( It did occasionally flicker for me, but it wasn't so bad that it was unusable or anything. I'm BEGGING for the manufacturer to fix the electrical components of this lamp! I don't want to be without mine :(

Super cute BUT out of the box it was crooked. Thought I was seeing things at first, but the light flickers constantly no matter the setting. It’s literally on in the picture I took, but flickered off for a few seconds. Ordering another one and returning this bc it’s perfect looking, it just needs to function properly. Fingers crossed!

LOVE this lamp. The dimmable feature is great for a nightstand and I was so excited to have found it. Then, within 24 hours, the flickering started - never to go away. My husband worked on it to try and fix it, to no avail. $65 for 24 hours of use. Planning to return.
