over&back Stoneware Round Cake Stand Semi-Matte

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been very pleased with this beautiful black cake stand. It is a perfect circular shape with a lip around it for extra security. It’s quite heavy and thick. It’s very well made and seamless around the top and base connection. I love that it’s dishwasher safe for the times I don’t want to hand wash. It displays baked goods appealingly! I do wish there was a lid with it to keep food items fresh. Not only do I like using it as a cake stand but it also doubles as a simple decorative tray. I use it to display candles, flowers, and any little decorative item. I get a lot of use out of this simple cake stand and I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Over & Back cake stand is great, I really like how versatile it is, as it can be used as a stand for cake or anything else ( I used as a stand for my cannoli), or used to serve dip. The material is light and durable. I also liked the matte black color, as it has a nice looking and can match with almost any other dinnerware/decoration.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Over and Back Stoneware Cake Stand is an average size and height, with a smooth black glaze finish. I like that it has a slight lip around the top (on the plate portion). For a stoneware piece, the stand weighs less than I'd expect. I'm glad that it can be carried with one hand. In addition, the cake stand appears to be sturdy. I have no doubt that it could easily hold a heavier cake. I used it on my kitchen counter, but only with a silicone mat underneath. The bottom of the top plate portion and bottom of the base have unglazed edges. While I understand that it's meant to be able to hold different size cakes, I don't think most home bakers make multi-tier ones, so it should come with a cover or a piece for over the plate portion to protect your baked goods.

Plate has a nice weight and color and finish give it a very high end top quality look. The small lip around diameter of plate is great to ensure your goodies don’t slide off. While this is called a cake stand it is versatile and great for displaying and serving any and all baked goods, desserts, fruits etc. you will not be disappointed!
