A: We apologize for our delayed answer, Whimsey. In addition to deep cleaning and stain removing action, White Revive also deposits brighteners to enhance whites in your laundry. While the product was made with whites in mind, it's also safe to use on any colorfast garments. As with many of our products, we always recommend testing in an inconspicuous location on the garment before use.

Q: Do you soak this? If so how hot is the water then? I have several white pants that have been getting diry IN the washing machine so thought I'd try this. How long do you let it soak for?

A: Hi, JT, Here are presoak directions for OxiClean White Revive Paks: Add 1 Pak to 1 gallon of the warmest water allowable for your fabric (see garment care instructions). For extra whitening, add 2 Paks. DO NOT open the Pak. Mix well to dissolve the Pak. Submerge stained clothing, or dingy white garment in solution. Soak for 1-6 hours and then wash as normal with detergent. Thank You

The wrapping does NOT fully melt on the washing cycle and if you don't remove before drying your clothes will end up with a plastic cast fused into them. I did use hot water on washing cycle and I don even think it helps with whitening.

I use this product along with vinegar to wash white towels & sheets. So many reviews complain about the smell. I am very sensitive to smell and these do have a smell, but definitely nothing terrible. Its a clean smell. My only complaint is that the price continues to go up.

OMG THE SMELLLL! My daughter came to visit and I had washed the guest room curtains using these pods. The smell was so strong after one wash and two rinses that I ended up washing them FIVE times. I couldn’t get the scent out. The first morning she was here, my daughter woke up with a migraine. She is super sensitive to fake scents. They ended up getting a hotel room and our visit was ruined. I threw that whole bag in the trash. But then, I forgot and bought another bag. All of my laundry stinks and I know this isn’t healthy or safe for anyone. Do not buy. I can tolerate and actually like the original scent, although my daughter can’t. Just FYI there. Get the original powder form. Not the whitening version. I don’t know why they had to add another scent when the first one was fine and it whitens too. Another bag in the trash. Hope I don’t forget again. 😂

The product worked perfectly - lifted stains and was safe for colors so no bleaching. It didn’t leave any strong chemical scent which I’m thankful for because bleach smells give me awful headaches.

This soap is used to wash white clothes as it removes all types of stains without damaging the clothes. It has a very light smell and is very effective for any stain. It comes very well packaged so that children cannot open it. I recommend it.

GameChanger for white clothes. I bought this to clean white baseball pants and it works amazingly. I soak overnight with a scoop and then through another scoop in the washer, works great getting out dirt and grass stains. Keeps the white looking fresh and bright. I like that it is safe to use on colors as well.
