Great for teaching colors (basic and in depth). This book has a wide variety of shades to explore but is not too overwhelming for kids. Some adults might also benefit from this book too (if you get certain colors mixed up, lol).

It is good for teaching colors but I was expected more shades of colors like magenta, hot pink, etc. instead it was shades like sunshine yellow or seashell pink. I just had different expectations for this. But colors aside, it was a good quality book that repeats color names so we kept it.

Very cute book! Different shades of colors so kids can learn that different shades of the same color are in fact the same color. My almost 2 year old loves it, and he has learned all of his colors after reading this book like twice!
