Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Hair Serum - 5.1 fl oz

Help - I can’t get it out of my hair. It’s sticky and greasy. It’s been 4 days and I try to shampoo it out but that doesn’t work. I’ve used it once and will never use again

This product is AMAZING! I use it after I wash my hair and let my hair air dry. There is minimal frizz and my naturally wavy/curly hair is straight and shiny!

John Paul Mitchell Skinny Serum: the best product ever!!!! I have thin, fine mixed curly/wavy hair. Cork screw curls around the edges with curls becoming less defined as they move towards the crown. Needless to say, living in Eastern Oklahoma with very humid conditions even when I would straighten it, I would end up with triangle hair at the end of the day. So, I kept it permed. I was introduced to this product in the early 2000's to help tame my frizz. It became quite apparent it also helped my hair dry FASTER! Because of this product I was able to not only wear my hair straight with minimal frizz, but due to new learned curly hair styling methods, I learned to embrace my curls, keep my hair shorter and stop perming my hair. I would use about one pump in my hair, all over. Then I saturate my hair with JPM mousse or other brands that worked for me. Scrunch, scrunch, scrunch to try and get the curls to congregate again, then either air dry or diffuse it. Then I would scrunch my hair breaking the caps/casts to have great curls that held all day. I use a tiny bit of the serum when doing this to add shine and tame frizz. I've only noticed mild build up, but that could be contributed to hard water, my shampoo/conditioner or my mousse. I wash my hair daily as I can't stand to not have clean hair and I have to get it wet anyway to style it. I have tried other alternative "natural" and less expensive products, and I keep returning to this product over and over again. So I highly recommend this product for frizz and reducing drying time and adding shine.

I was having trouble with frizz and my hair stylist used this product on my hair. OMG, I love it! It works great and I love the smell. I had to buy it! It's a big part of my hair routine now. Please don't ever discontinue this product. Thank you

I developed a fragrance allergy. Please develop this product without fragrance. Many would benefit from this offering. I have used this for over a decade and have show-stopping knee length hair. Please consider this change.

I discovered this stuff when I was a teen at the salon my mom always went to. After that I was hooked. 15 years later and I still use this after every hair wash. Even if you let your hair naturally dry it still dries faster than no product. If it wasn't for this stuff my hair would stay damp for hour and be a frizzy nest.

I have been using this product for years, but the new formula is HORRIBLE! I can hardly wash it off my hands and it doesn’t work on my hair at all like the old formula. I looked at my former bottle and read the ingredients that were mostly understandable items, the list on the new bottle are a bunch of unrecognizable chemicals. I will NOT continue to use this and am VERY disappointed.

PLEASE,PLEASE! Never discontinue this product, it really works! I am all the time on the search for new hair products and I fin the Super Skinny Serum to be the best I´ve tried so far, thank you for creating such a wonderful product.

I’ve been using this product for 8 years… it felt like a lightweight oil that would absorb naturally in my hair and make it more manageable. I just purchased the updated version and it was a sticky, gooey mess. I had to shower all over again! Completely unlike what it used to be! I guess now I’ll have to shop around and find something different…. Bummer!

Used to absolutely live this product but the new version that they have it has a few new ingredients which are not the healthiest for your hair out there. If you compare pictures 1 with 2 the latest version of this product has Dimethicone... my hair is not as soft and smooth as it was when I was using the 1st product which I had purchased a years ago.

I really love this serum but recently I bought more yet something was different, I don’t know what changed but the texture was more tackier or stickier and it weighed my hair down more

It’s safe to say that I use this product religiously on my hair. It’s the only product I’ve trusted in the last 5 years to really protect my hair. I use it on damp hair before I blow dry it, and I also use a bit more when I use a hot iron. This serum leaves my hair soft and shiny and helps protect my hair from damage. I highly recommend!

I have a friend who went to the Paul Mitchell school and told me the proper way of using this was on damp hair, only 1 or 2 pumps and to brush through so it coats every strand. Its amazing. I was using basic drugstore heat protectant and they were bad. This product leaves my hair super silky like a water fall and lightweight never oily. I have thick hair and its pretty frizzy and wavy and I use this to straighten my hair and it looks like I could be in a hair commercial. My stylist recommended this one for straightening. He said there were other Paul Mitchell products that were better for curling or blowouts because they have stuff in them for volume and shape but this could still be used for curling or blowout.

I have really thick hair and my former hairdresser was tired of it taking so long to dry my hair, she used this once and it took about half the time. Not only that but it made it super soft and way less frizzy. This was about 5 years ago and I cant go a single hair wash without using this. Its definitely worth spending the money and a little bit goes a long way, so the product lasts a while.

My hair is always so tangled....this product makes it super easy to comb through!

I have thick, coarse hair that I bleach from dark brown to platinum. Were it not for this product I would likely look like a witch. It is so wonderful!

I love this product. Living in Florida my hair can get out of control. I've used other products and so far this is the best. Thank you JPM for wonderful products.
