Cheap soft wood, falls apart

I used to think building ikea furniture was hard but this is a new level of difficulty. there’s very few instructions, the wood breaks so easily that some came broken, the wood is so soft that if your small animal pees on it, it’s gonna absorb right in. The only good thing was how easy it was to get a refund. I wouldn’t recommend this unless you’re experienced with difficult builds/ wood

the only good thing about this is that the design is nice, but a lot of the pieces were broken. the sidewalls were you put the first on second deck were not attached, there were multiple cracks in the walls and pieces of the bridges, the second deck had a huge crack along the outer edge to where it would bend and potentially break off if a pound or two where applied. poor quality control especially for the price.

Worse quality wood

I made the biggest mistake of not listening to the negative reviews about this cage on Amazon. The quality is terrible. There are splinters on every piece of wood. The pieces that were supposed to be pre-connected (by staples) fell apart. Please do yourself a favor, save your money and time and don’t buy this product.

This cage has plenty of room for your little fur friend. I only noticed a few problems. One being that the door that pulls open in the front had a slight gap in between it and the bottom of the cage, but I fixed it by nailing two pieces of wood under the part that slides out at the bottom of the cage. Also one of the side pieces was broken at the top but a few nails fixed that problem. As for the houses, I believe tiny nails would have worked better than screws, because the wood kept cracking. Other than that, the building part of it wasn¡¯t too hard and it was pretty self explanatory. My Syrian boy sure does love his new home! It is a little pricey but it¡¯s well worth it once you put it all together.

Made it within 2 hours using a butter knife and scissors because I didn't have a drill or screwdriver but highly suggest using those for better results. My dwarf hamster loves his new home. Didn't realize how huge it is but it's not an issue the more space the better tbh. Its width is about the same as a queen bed (as you can see in my pictures). Don't cheap out if you own a pet or else don't buy a pet. Worth the money.
Beautiful, large enough cage

Great product, my daughter's hamster is just loving it. We had to drill a hole in one of the walls for his water bottle but that's not a big deal. I would buy it again!

I have had many pet hamsters in the past and I do know that if you provide a variety of chew sticks, toys, and climbing obstacles.... They will tend to be too occupied with chewing holes on plastic. wood construction frame alleviates this problem.
Great cage just a pain

Ok it¡¯s a really good cage it¡¯s worth getting for the space just the assembly was a struggle. It took me 5 hours lol. Make sure you line everything up first before drilling. I had to remove screws and re do the sides cause they were a little confusing. They do put holes where you drill the screws but I wish they put holes on what your drilling into as well. That way everything lines up. So my cage is a little off but it¡¯s still a really good cage. The top didn¡¯t line perfectly cause everything was a little off but I just got cage clips so everything is secure now. Also it¡¯s pretty big so make sure you make a good amount of room for it

I love how large and spacious this cage is. I will say, however, I wish it was stained or maybe more liquid resistant¡ getting any hamster pee on the second or third floor is impossible to get out so I ended up having to get rid of the second floor due to the smell and bacteria. It also comes quite splintery so you might have to sand down or cut off a few wood splinters. Overall, though, my hamster loves the space to explore. Good buy

The cage was bigger than I thought. The set up was slight struggle but got it at the end. I have to dwarf hamsters, so they love the room. Would recommend for much larger rodents aswell.

This is not an easy cage to put together. Have some patience, and a drill definitely helps. But once put together this is a very nice cage. It is pine, but pine wood is NOT a danger to hamsters as some have suggested in other reviews -- although pine SHAVINGS are. Instructions are just images, but it's relatively easy to figure out how to put it together. You're just building a box. Have only had it one night, but it 's big and roomy for my daughter's Syrian. Glad we got it, and I would recommend this if you aren't too worried about building something.

The assembly is not hard, everything lined up and fit how it should. My daughter wanted to paint it so we changed it to the blue, and it's easy.

arrived so quickly , easy to put together so much room only down side was the door at the bottom is hard to use to clean out but I just made a tiny alteration and swapped the front panel around so now the opening door is at the top and I hinged it at the bottom so it flaps down and this is now a perfect set up for my gerbils , I bought 2 of these and about to buy another
Should have just built my own

Surprised I didn't just receive a tree and was told to assemble it. It looks nice but you literally have to screw together everything in weird angles and the assembly guide is a bunch of pictures that show the step after it has been done. I wish I bought some candy.
